I'm pretty sure if you already bought it, you'll be able to redownload them anytime you want. It's the stuff you haven't bought already that you'll lose out on. But I'd be surprised if one day, many years from now, if they don't shut down redownloads too. Not until we're really really old, hopefully, lol.

March 27 is the final date, btw. They also made it a hassle by shutting down use of credit cards on those stores already. You have to add the funds through the browser version of the store or on Switch's store, or buy points and redeem the codes.

Does anyone else want the DOA reboot to have the biggest stages ever seen in the series? Is there anyone who would be against the idea?

A brand new game with new assets made from scratch, if KT actually decided to put real money into it, with huge interactive stages, I think if any FG can look truly "next gen" and turn heads it's DOA.

Is Museum considered the biggest stage in the series so far? Not like I've measured them all myself lol, and perceptions can differ from reality.

I don't mean big as in one huge flat room, more like multi-tiered. I've never felt a DOA stage was ever "too big", honestly, but "too small" for sure. DOA2, 2U, 3 & 4 have most of my favorites. Imo, big stages, even after playing them 100s of times, can still feel fresh.

interactive stages could work if they ever decide to cough up the capital to invest in it lol. i am probably in the minority of those who enjoyed doa4 but i remember those stages being good. 3 was better but that’s besides the point.

Well I think there are different kinds of interaction and different people are more or less comfortable with them depending on which ones they are. Most people might be fine with hurdles and danger zones, but not everyone was a fan of DOA4's cars and dinos, but it's all good fun to me. It's good if there's a variety of stages for every taste., imo.
    Ninja vs Sharks, anyone?

I read this as Ninja Shark initially, and now I'm disappointed that it isn't. :(

This has to be one of the most WTF Japan moments ever lol.

Lol, somehow I find it less crazy than "sharknado". The concept could turn out pretty cool if done right... or insanely ridiculous and intentionally/unintentionally funny, which is probably the way it's gonna go.
This FG looks so mesmerizing to watch, yet it has no supers or meters or even special moves (it seems)... or 3D... or boobs... lol

So, has Marie Rose surpassed the old faces of DOA yet when it comes to number of times being hocked out to other series? lol

At least they're not letting the DOA IP go totally dormant for now...

As much as I don't care for Marie Rose, Ruka looks good in that outfit I cant lie
Wow, cool... there's more snow here than in DOA6.

Man, that's honestly pretty sad if a beach game has more snow than DOA6...

@inochinagi: I hate to be a Positive Patsy, but Road Rage is an entire snow stage. Console versions can make it snowy by switching to graphics mode.

And for gaming PC owners with weather/timescape mods, DOA6 can be as snowy as you want it to be on almost any stage. It's pretty neat.

@Awesmic: I get that Road Rage is 6's snow stage, as much as it still surprises me to learn that. It was like the snow was an after thought or shoehorned into the first stage they pointed at once they decided they wanted to add a snow stage at the last minute. Still, the joke was right there to make, lol.

Also, hey, mods dont count, lol, but nice to know that, thanks! I'll check it out.
I'm starting to forget that Street Fighter was ever a cool series.

Sure, the content, gameplay, and visual technical power are all looking great for the next game, but stylistically SF has become a joke since SF4. I was hoping SF6 would finally bring back the cool factor with all the technical power possible in modern games, but nope.

And let it be known as a fact now, this trend of game characters going more uggo these days definitely doesn't just apply to female characters. Capcom takes the cake when it comes to the decline from having some of the coolest looking chatacters ever to... "what if our game characters looked like some weird guy down the street?". It was great when it was Frank West in Dead Rising, but it should have ended there, lol.

Even if he had said absolutely nothing, just the fact that he got on stage like that and everyone was fine with it for so long was S-tier hilarious. Also S-tier freaky if you think about it... good thing he just wanted to say some probably random nonsense, lol.

Well, contrary to what most people probably think, Nintendo has never been a stranger to AAA games. It's just that they usually work with lower powered hardware and people associate AAA with the latest-tech and graphics when AAA is really supposed to be about the budget. Zeldas are AAA as far as Nintendo games go, for example. Ocarina was AAA for its time.

But Pokemon, didn't they just have a major game last year? Not much dev time (maybe rushed) between projects, plus the game looks like the biggest Pokemon ever, and most ppl are loving it, but that's despite the glitches (which all luckily seem to be hilarious so far anyways, not game-breaking and not even hindering players or causing a negative experience at all).

At least we know Bayo 4 is a sure thing, lol. (and apparently multiple more are already in his mind, as long as they keep selling I guess)
I always thought the models looking like that when you pause, including in DOA, was messed up, but Sakurai must be right, lol. Nice to know that when I see that happen, it's probably actually intentional by the animators.

That's interesting - I've actually noticed this phenomenon a lot in DOA6's photo mode (particularly with Jann Lee). I hadn't thought of it as deliberate exaggeration of the movements before, but it makes a lot of sense in hindsight.
I'm not kidding when I say that when I heard her voice here for the first time back in 2008, followed by everything else in the trailer,
that was the moment I went from saying "not sure if want" to "day 1". Still some of my favorite English voice acting, ever. Just wanted to at least say that much.
