    Can't stand SFV, my friends can't stand the mechanics or input delay of their games, SC6/T7 and the only FG I want to play(VF) is being lost in time + my PS3 works when it feels like it. Might quit FGs altogether eventually. They're not sustainable in the slightest. Devs expect people to be trendy & Play every FG w/o a desire to master them. There's plenty of FGs I simply don't like or haven't purchased. Sadface

    SamSho? I only really liked them in non-SamSho games ala CVS2 and NEO GEO Battle Coliseum, I used Shiki in that one. As for MK11, after 9 that whole series went down the pisser in a golden toilet but it's still a turd. Too slow and Clunky, AAs feel non-existent, punishing, etc.

    Yeah, the gen has been odd for FG's. Competitively they've actually grown scene-wise, but have regressed mechanically and with regards to overall content. Have you given GBVS a try? As for input delay, SCVI and DOA6 have a lot less input delay if played on PC.

    I generally don't care for input delay in games where I can't establish it since I'm new to the series (Comp wise). My friend does. At least when it comes to Tekken. As for GBFV, I don't own the game and it plays like SF, so, I have no doubt I could play it. Friend let me try it thru share play and I was doing the combos lol

    Besides better netcode for all the EVO games this year, I'm gunning for faster load times for Tekken 7 lol

    On one hand, congrats to T7 on the 5 million+ sales, but on the otherhand with regards to the overall product, it doesn't really deserve all those sales IMO. T7 was a very shoddy product in its first season, and the downsides of said product (such as brutal load times & netcode for example) can still be felt in S3.

    Why is One Piece scared to kill anyone? Like, I get main chars but even enemies and minor chars have this crazy invulnerability from the most ridicc attacks and sequences. It's low-key actually pissing me off/throwing out the immersion.

    Though, in turn, it creates an interesting view of curiosity as to how they survive or get thru certain things, knowing there's nearly 1000 episodes. Some are predictable but don't happen right away. Also, particular members that could end a battle right away are always never there lol

    Yeah actually. They give me numbers and offer covid counselling through my job for workers and their families. I'm even eligible for a paid 28 day stay in a hotel, but I haven't applied for it yet

    So, I got spoiled for TLoU2 but it actually won't change much since the gameplay is innovative in terms of animations and realism. I'm kind semi-surprised by the leak if I were to guess.

    TLoU doesn't really need to be innovative because its narrative, writing, characters, graphics and setting can carry the game.

    I mean technically it was brought forward not delayed. They delayed it to May then delayed indefinitely, it's only because of the leaks you're getting it in June I'm pretty sure.

    At this point in gaming there's one sequel I always wanted but since games are made so easy now, I'd dislike it unless From Software made it but it's one to Bungie's ONI. Souls before Souls. Who here played it 20 yrs ago?

    Best go with the latter on that one. Platinum is too "spectacle" obsessed to really nail things, even when some of the surrounding fluff is pretty interesting.

    I think Platinum could do Oni justice if they wanted to make it more anime than it already is lol. Otherwise yeah, TN would probably be best.

    I'd *personally* want the former over the latter.

    Gatekeeping exists for good measure. It's to avoid anti-consumerism like MTX and overall bad DLC practices. If people are just ok with something because they aren't a vet of that series, then the devs will try to get away with more with the new "fanbase". Look

    MTX is not inherently anti consumer as additional content, well, adds to the game and sustains player interest. One would be tempted to say, "if only all of that were F R E E", but until content creators can all live on oxygen alone I'm not seeing that happen. In the eyes of vidya players spending on digital content is unacceptable, yet in many industries people will happily charge hundred$ for a model or a photo.

    Certain classes of cancerous practices like season passes, lootboxes, paywalled mechanics and aggressive game versioning can indeed eat a dick, but way too often I see people go after insignificant MTX because they really just wanted free stuff.

    This has been a slight rant I wanted to get off my chest because haven't been following Kekken lol

    Think it's sad and pathetic that in order to see hellsweeps in Tekken, like seeing lows in every other 3D fighter, you need the 120Hz mod with the monitor to go with it. This is why I don't think Tekken players don't know how to truly Yomi people, as it's simply given to them for free like Zangief but worse
