    I think that's really KH in general actually when it comes to pacing yeah lol. I can't speak for the portables since I've never played them (least not yet since Birth by Sleep is part of the collection and just haven't tried it yet but maybe I will one of these days), but KH1/2/3 do jump the gun a bit. It's just that KH3 is the most obvious of the bunch.

    For some reason because of how KH3 turned out, I do get the feeling Nomura and his team are reaching to what people call a "Writer's block" for the game's story, general writing, and just an overall approach to sequels while using plot holes as a means to continue a series.

    KH3 was also in development hell similar to FFXV.

    I suspected so, and it did show in how both KH3 and FFXV turned out. Still don't regret playing the games at all though. I still feel that Square Enix tries. FFVIIR showed me that.

    I have kind memories from this community even though i don't belong to anyone's group. Really hope we will get a new DOA game in the future now that new consoles are here.

    I dunno, if the grind's a drag then even a decent payoff can make it difficult to engage, for example, rn Im playing Natural Doctrine and Im stuck at the final boss because it's second form one shots my whole party, so my only recourse is to grind, but the game is unforgivably slow, and is one of those games where 1 bad play can set back 30 mins of progress

    so I can barely bring myself to do what I have to do it push through this final barrier, granted I've already dumped 100+ hours into this game and i wont cheapen the ending by just watching it on youtube, but at the same time I am in no rush to slowly level up to deal with that hard as nails final boss, maybe one day when im stoned out of my mind and I need to play something slow i'll go back to it

    Makes sense. Imo, it just has to be that gauge where you developed something fun out of it. I think that's the barrier of it all. Because people can grind for something where you get nothing entirely for the outcome, but they found enjoyment out of that grind where they just keep going. For me, I find anything RNG related to be awful, regardless of how fun a game can be even if slow.

    No joke. He went from sort of being Ryu's rival to being the rival of the new male character in every new game that comes out. He was also slightly more badass in the older games.

    I remember that being one of the selling points of the OG xbox, so I made sure to transfer alot of music to it when I got mine, but the only game I owned that allowed for custom BGM was Fusion Frenzy!

    I remember using in in DOAXBV and in Tony Hawk's Underground but yeah, i don't remember a lot games having it. It was neat though.

    is that the secret to enjoying Fall guys, cause i aint gonna lie that game makes me saltyyy, but in a Mario Kart kinda salt where random chance and actual skill seems to overlap too much but you're still having a good time

    @Camel with 2 thumbs if you play with friends you can cheer them to win if you lose. Basically you can see it playing as a team. I think it's lovely way to play.

    Well, you can stream directly from console but the quality is bad. If you want the stream to look good you need a capture card, something from Elgato or Avermedia, and a PC for encoding.

    Maybe next gen consoles will have better video encoders, but I doubt it since they'll still be AMD based.

    Capture card, console and a mic. The minimum is just a console with streaming capabilities like the PS4 or XBone. +1 for Aya Brea avatar.

    For real though, I always thought the alien suit was cool. I never associated it with teletubbies until I read someone say it online, lol. He was a balance of cool/chill/funny and muay thai.

    I enjoyed DOA1 more than before, and DOA2H less than before (damn "AI"), onto DOA3 now. Even if I stopped playing any DOA for a while, it'd still hold the place of my 2nd favorite FG series, 1st favorite 3D FG series. You don't have to be actively playing a series to still love/like it or care for it. All the better times I've had with the series before things went downhill are still with me.

    I've always been more single-player oriented with fighting games, though, so I can maybe understand anyone who requires a community to be on board with whatever game their playing atm, even if it's an old one. Too bad all the old games can't be re-released with online and good netcode.

    I prefer that anime style because it’s drawn in a very soft manner. I don’t like thick lines if that makes sense.
