"Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate is announced, what a surprise! I didn't see that coming at all!" - said no one ever. This makes me want to wait with buying DOA6 though, I feel an Ultimate version coming soon for that game too.
Now that Sony bought out Insomniac most people think about a sequel to the Spiderman game or more action-adventure Marvel games and here I am hoping that they'll make another Ratchet and Clank game, unlikely, I know but I'm still hoping for an announcement of a new game either happening in the old timeline with Talwyn or the new one (reboot).
Seems that Itsuno would like to make a new Power Stone if the opportunity is given to him to do so. Wouldn't be bad but I hope that it won't leave a sour-ish taste in my mouth like Power Stone 2 does if it is going to be a thing in the future.
Ok, apparently I should stay silent the next time I'm saying something along the lines of "barely any announcements have been made". The best reveals we're the insanely good looking GG and the new Tekken character, came out of nowhere.
Zero BBTag announcements, at this rate I wouldn't be surprised if there would be less than 500 entrants for it in next year's EVO. To be fair though, there weren't really any announcements at this year's EVO, which is very surprising. ArcSys just announced the new version of UNI and that was it.
Again, Nightwolf looking the best he's ever been. There isn't a single character in MK11 who is lame, like, at all. Ok, maybe when it comes to how certain characters are meant to be played, then yes, some are lame but I'm mainly talking about appearance and the actions and moves that they can perform.
Everyone can rightfully say that DW9 was, is and will always be a bad game but the fact that they're still patching it even though it was a massive flop shows that they actually care about the game, either that or there were just so many bugs and glitches that they'd still need a hundred patches to completely fix it.
Pre-order dlc that you are unable to purchase later on, no matter how much time passed since the game's release has to be one of the worst things when it comes to video games.
I wonder when they're going to put some content in the game that can be purchased via fight money, because iirc they said that they're going to do something with it so that people don't sit on humongous amounts of it for too long....or they forgot about it...or maybe I just imagined them saying it.
*New Switches are going to have a longer battery life* That's cool and all but the coolest thing would be a "Pro" version to the Switch, probably wouldn't be too hard to make them either.
Even though Arc System Works make great games, I have to say that they could handle the character roster of their games better these days: BBTag could've had many guest characters, to the point where it could've been the Smash of Anime (fgs), yet there are only 5, team RBWY and only 1 from Arcana Heart and Kill la Kill: IF only has 10 characters at start, with 2 being dual-wielding forms of the protags.
This Steam Grand Prix thing is so rigged now its not even funny....which makes sense since everyone jumped into team Corgi when people saw them winning easily over the rest of the competition. Still, overall the 5th place team ended up 1st in the fourth race, and the 1st place team ended up 5th now, 2nd place team ends up being 4th, its just so bad.
Games that I hope will make it to Steam one day: Ninja Gaiden trilogy, Tekken Tag Tournament HD, DOA1-4, Ratchet trilogy and Spiderman (unlikely, I know, still, Sunset Overdrive is on PC), any Naughty Dog game (Uncharted or Jak mainly though).
Random opinion about KT games: The only KT games that have a decent story is Nights of Azure 1&2 (maybe Blue Reflection as well? Haven't played it yet) and pre-DOA6 DOA.
