    Sup man. There might be a local tournament comin up on the 26th in my area. SU might possibly be there too. I don't feel like getting my ass handed to me by him so help me train lol? I think I'll use Ein on the players I know I can beat and roll with Hayate on the more skilled players.

    Last time I was around that area I was passing by to go to work. The contact I had up there is over so I have no clue when I will be back up there. You should try to come to Michigan Masters this year. The month for it is August. A set date is being worked out now.

    I have a question about guaranteed moves. Lets just use Genfu right now. After his air grab his K is guaranteed, ok everyone knows this but how come things with faster frames arent guaranteed? Like a jab or whatever. I never understood this, even with other characters.

    Gen Fu can guarantee a jab or jab;jab if he wanted to. It's best if a kick is used in some situations. as for other characters it depends on the attack you want to do being too fast and the opponent is not in state in which they can be hit yet even though the fame advantage says otherwise.

    Also, spacing comes into play, like the hitbox on a jab is short which may cause whiffing in some of the situations that you are talking about.

    Hey man I was wondering what you thought of the Ein vs. Kasumi MU. I feel like it's even because they both have the potential to control the match IMO. Kasumi is slaughtering him in CQC but when Ein gets the life lead and begins his spacing and keepout I don't really think she has a solid answer to that other than be more patient than Ein.

    But yeah in general I'm working on developing strong footsies. I'm glad that I asked you about this because I only face players on PSN so the tactics I use may only be effective because of the type of players they are and not actually effective against the characters they play.

    Do you know of any players on PSN that are of your calibur other than Ryujin and SU? I try to get in games with them at times so I can make sure I'm on the right track.

    yeah, SR gets on it, and so does kwiggle. it's hard catching them on the psn so if i ever wanted it play them i'd call them and tell them to get on. for the most part everyone that i know is on the xbox and i have ask them to get on the ps3 lol. the issue you are having is why i went back to playing on the xbox.

    yeah i am taking a break. i have a few characters half-ass'd done. i have to put them together but i've been on break away from the game. i will get around to them. it's good to know some people watched and are possibly learning from them.

    Everytime I enter the flamingo stance with Sarah, it always pauses. Like I would input anything but she won't move sometimes. Other characters that I go in and out of stances always attack when I input something. But Sarah always has a short pause, I even looked into it in the lab and it always pauses, I would have to wait a second. They nerf her?

    no, the vf characters are like that when they do certain attacks that give them frame advantage. it's just a guard stun that you are feeling/seeing. you still have your frame advantage and will beat out your opponents, you just have to wait until the guard stun is over with.
