    I was frustrated to find that it's become very hard to find any pre-release footage of DOA4 anywhere. Thankfully archive.org had some interesting videos that I've now added to the media section. Some interesting stuff to see: The cut throw-during-stun animation, jumping was still in the game, Christie using her early design with purple lipstick, moves that would later be cut like Ayane's 2KP and Kasumi's fakeout 66K.

    Just came here after revisiting your busted Youtube channel when looking for NieR unmixed music layer. Wayback machine give some clues but no working link. Any chance for backup links in mediafire? or anything maybe?

    If there's none, do you have any tuts for ripping it?

    Would you happen to know how to directly import custom outfits into DOA2U? It doesn't use the save system like DOA3 does it?
    I've tried rebuilding the hdd afs, but it always crashes when I import a custom outfit made for DOAOL (there's an .xpr converter out there now).
    I know it's possible as the DOA2++ creator has custom outfits running.

    Bone/rig information and materials/shaders, yeah. Might have more, but those are the ones I know about.

    Don't suppose there's a way to encrypt a .cat file if it's custom?

    Well, the GreedXplorer tool can unencrypt the .cat files and export them, so the reverse should be possible. I've just never come across a tool that can do it.
    (Right click .xpr > "Extract XPR with CAT" > "DOAU Decode" is the option for that btw.)

    What do you use to capture your original Xbox gameplay? Your footage looks so good. The best thing I've found for it is the HD PVR2, which sucks.

    Hahaha, well, what I use is actually an original model HD PVR, which I think might be even worse? So I dunno, maybe I just found a good compression/bitrate setting.

    Ideally you'd want something that can either capture component cables uncompressed, or you'd need a component-to-hdmi splitter and capture that.

    Hmm. I use the official Microsoft brand component cables for all of my original Xboxes, but for whatever reason the quality of the videos never comes out all that great. The HD PVR2's capture software likes to crash constantly too.

    Do you know how to convert DOAO's .emp files into .xpr files for 2U? Or any other way to make them work in 2U?

    For the subtitles, I opened the default.xbe file with a memory editor. The one I use is called HxD, but pretty much any editor should do. Once it's open you just need to do a text search for whatever line you wish to change.

    For the values, I don't know, sorry. What you quoted looked like it was either generated by using a program, or manually looked up. Maybe a memory editor could let you find it? Other than that I can only really advise you to check modding sites for tools or tutorials.

    Primært fordi jeg ikke er så vild med at de bruger DOA4's stun/launch system, men også fordi de characters jeg spiller ikke længere kan de ting jeg godt kunne lide ved dem i DOA2 og 3.
