Should The Ends of the Earth stage be banned? 2/3 or 3/5 matches?

If EOTE is banned, we shouldn't have to worry about this. Geez that is pretty bad though, even Red Alpha's upper body is a bit difficult to see.

It's basically the sky that makes her invisible. If a mountain is behind her she's okay, that's why the daytime helipad also has a similar issue with her.

Once they implement the custom OST into the game, everything will be replaced by Tekken 3 tracks and you won't be missing that stage.

Works fine on the 360 already. Sony was stupid when they didn't force the option like Microsoft.

Well there is the jukebox, and there is an actual soundtrack replacer... as in, automatically assigning tracks to specific stages and menus... which is infinitely more convenient.

Not natively supported, though. TTT2 did that and it was pretty awesome. Me, I only use custom soundtracks immediately before clicking 'Online.'

Amen to this. Shit. Right. Here.

I'm gonna have a field day with my looping projects if this is actually planned.

What's the consensus on changing lifebar for tag to smallest? Normal has too many timeouts and recoverable health just makes comebacks incredibly difficult, especially if you only have one character. I found that lowering health allowed for 1 character to still be deadly, but matches were still a little long in the tooth.

lol People always have an excuse for losing to Alpha. Anyway I still say if you're going to ban a stage for these silly reasons ban all ceiling stages too since not every character benefits from them. That is why we're banning the ice level right? ;) I mean it's too much work to low crush people, just ban it.

Stupid people piss me off. Seriously, you have to actually set up for for ceiling damage. EoTE causes everything to be a critical and it even fucks up certain stuns and you CAN'T GET AWAY FROM THE ICE. Ceiling stages you can actually get away from the damn ceiling by knocking the opponent to a different part of the stage. That rewards positioning, the ice stage doesn't. It's a dumb stage.

You think it's fair that a character becomes permentantly invisible? You can't stop or deter it, nor can you combat it. If you don't believe me try running into traffic with a blindfold on vs without. Post your results.

I think it can be unbanned for my tournaments, and what I've heard from those who initially brought up the complaints they too are fine with unbanning it.

I'm assuming blue and green Alpha is still not allowed for certain stages right? Nothing in the patch notes mentions any changes in lighting or color readjustments for Alpha.

What about the match settings?

Is that going to be a TO's preference or a community decision on that? As of now, I have played in tournaments with 3/5 settings all the way through and then 2/3 settings with 3/5 for the finals.

My position on it before was about numbers at a tournament; small numbers do 3/5 and large numbers 2/3. My position on it now is 2/3 with 3/5 finals, and it will remain that way regardless of the tournament turnout. 3/5 is too much and the only reason it was presented was because of the life settings for DOA4 and the high damaging holds. The life setting will be decreased to 270 when the patch comes, but still I think that 2/3 is a better match setting.

We've been running 2/3 matching settings for as long as this game has had a tournament life (what little it has), and it needs to remain that way. There is nothing wrong with the game that calls for it to be 3/5.
