doa6 isn’t the end. the ip is far from dead. with new xvv game announced. in which direction the ip goes is anyone guess, same for if they want to create doa7.
So far Tean NINJA hasn't even announced a full mainline game this year.
Then it would be the longest break in Team NINJA history.

Dead or Alive fighting games have typically had a 7-year lifespan, suggesting a March 2026 release for DOA7. However, there's been a complete lack of news regarding DOA7, coupled with the departure of the original producer and no replacement. This situation is very concerning.
If Team Ninja were to start developing DOA7 today, given the mere two years until the projected March 2026 release, the quality of the final product would be even more questionable. I believe that rushing a game to market without proper refinement is a recipe for disaster, as evidenced by the failure of DOA6. It might be better to end the Dead or Alive series altogether."
