well for doa3 i have ntsc which is what my skin pack is based on atm but maybe later i'll switch to pal as i heard that one is better

btw how did you know where the warning screen is? is there a tool or something that helps find what the game is loading or something i'd love to be able to do this myself instead of requesting all the time just the warning screen, i know you use a hex editor but its all just numbers to me nothing really stands out so its hard to learn

i dont think you can yet cxbx isnt really good xemu may be able to use trainers but havent tested it yet

trainers are cheats you can enable by using https://drive.google.com/file/d/10d8xpgAUkbG3xMSYFHI1Xbp_FOjX9Z-w/view?usp=sharing using xored and etm trainers you run it then choose that trainer then enable the cheats and press start button to start the game with cheats and your good to go

doa2u wont let you share game saves, i can with doa3 ntsc but thats it

I couldn't reverse the trainer you gave me, must be obfuscated or something. Though I reversed another trainer called 'Dead or Alive Ultimate p5.etm', seems like it works for both, PAL and NTSC, and unlocks everything.
To apply these cheats on cxbx, use the HxD hex editor(https://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/):
- Start the DOA2U in CXBX and load your savegame
- Start the 'HxD.exe', go to menu -> 'Tools' -> 'Open Main Memory', select 'cxbxr-ldr.exe' and press 'OK'
- Press <CTRL + G>, insert this address 00806B48, and press 'OK' to go there.
- With the <Shift> key pressed, press 9 times the <DOWN ARROW> to select 9 rows (starting from address 00806B48).
- Select the numbers bellow and press <CTRL+C> to copy them to clipboard:

I decompiled it. These etm files are snippets that inject themselves into the game like viruses. This one doesn't do much trickery. It just edits the savefile loaded in the memory to trick the game that you've achieved everything in the game, and when you 'Play Survival, Pick up an Item and die ' the game checks your achievements and does everything else.

That wouldn't be an ease task. But for xemu you can edit the memory the same way. With one difference that xemu is not as consistent in it's memory mapping like cxbx is. You'll have to search for the address where the save game is loaded.
- Remove all your doau savegames.
- Start doau in xemu and create the default 'PLAYER1' savegame.
- Open HxD and go to 'Tools' -> 'Open Main Memory' -> 'xemu'
- Press <CTRL + F> for search, and in the 'Text-string' tab, search for Lightning Offering Guy, that's their encryption key for the save file.
- After the first occurrence, again <CTRL + F> for search, this time go to the 'Hex-values' tab, and search for this(this will position correctly the selection to paste your memory patch):

Do you have a complete save file that you can share?

CXBX won't support save transfers, because the emulator doesn't have the proper key for game save verification or whatever. XEMU works because it's an LLE, but CXBX-R by design doesn't have that as a feature. you have to grab the key from an original xbox and plug it into your cxbx install to use it.

This costume is a DOAO exclusive and doesn't exist in doa2u.

I just reainstalled DOAO few days ago. it's runs awesome, even if i just play NPCs (i'm not really into Online gaming)
but i want to ask something; is there any kind of alternate command for the megaphone function?
I play in window mode (as in fullview i can't record anything on screen), which works good aside of the lowside menu doesn't appear :/
any help is welcome!

I did this and while I experienced a change the app still isn't opening now it just says that i need to install netframework 3.5. I have it installed and enabled and even when I press install this feature I get a sucess and the app never opens

I don't know what else to tell you. It work for me when I deleted the config file.

Is this for DOA1U or DOA2U? as you don't make it clear anywhere, I am trying to unlock all costumes on DOA2U and have enabled all the trainers, started survival, won one match, collected an item on the next match then lost the match and I still don't have all items or any costumes etc. thanks

I got the trainers working on DOA2U now and all objects are unlocked / available but i still don't have access to extra costumes, you said it unlocks everything but I can't get the costumes which is the only thing I wanted
