Sometimes life just forces you to go in a different direction than trying to be a FGC pro lmao.
I mean, you kind of have to accept the odds. Similar to every other sport. Not every one is going to be a "professional", or have the means to live within that realm. I gave up on professional gaming (at least for now), because I need to get my life in order first. We're all not going to be a J.Wong, a Sonic Fox, or Daigo. Perhaps being a pro is not the calling. Maybe you're a commentator, a great TO, blogger, or content creator. The great thing about E-Sports is that it does not have the same standards a regular physical sports. Once you reach a certain age, you kind of have to retire due to physical demands, but you can always be a competitor in E-sports. Perhaps when I'm done with school and have my career in place then I can return, but for now I just consider myself a casual player which is not so bad. I found myself enjoying a new genre of video games.
