I think they just got Fionna????Even I who doesn't even play or follow VV knows that the Steam version is severely behind. Don't even think steam even has Kanna yet.

Well I’d be ok with that. I really wanted either Kanna, Tamaki, or Sayuri anyway.BTW, somewhat related, but apparently if one of the users on here is to be believed, the DOAXVV girl that is going to be in DOA6 will be...
(drumroll)
Tamaki!
I would have wanted any one of the eight girls from DOAXVV in, but I would have settled for Tamaki, Kanna, Misaki, and Monica, since thanks to Shimbori stupidly retconning the post-vanilla content out of existence, those are the only ones that had ANY shot at being included in the game due to those four actually knowing at least one of the mainstay fighters pre-arrival at the Venus Islands.Well I’d be ok with that. I could see Luna being Russian or even Czech. That’s would make some sense to me.
I am hoping that when they show off Tamaki for DOA6, they also release her on the console versions of DOAX3. Wishful thinking, but she is popular and I would immediately buy her for Scarlet.
Omg. I said Czech, but when I wrote this post I was thinking about Ukraine. Oof. I meant Ukraine for sure. Since they border Russia, they have a lot of influence from Russia. Plus they aren’t a wealthy country, so could explain some of Luna’s dialogue. Roasted Sweet Potatoes aren’t just an Asian thing.. my family in the US roasts sweet potatoes and we aren’t Asian. Haha. I’m sorry for the slip there.. I have always kinda thought she was Ukrainian, but Mongolian could also make sense. She does have very nomadic qualities. That’s what makes me think less Russian. She reminds me of a girl I went to college with aesthetically. This girl was an international student from Ukraine. So maybe that’s why I feel that way too. Idk.Well, I don't know about Czech. That's still in Europe, while Luna indicated that her country, or at least her grandpa, had roasted sweet potatoes as a food source, which would imply that it's near Asia since roasted sweet potatoes are generally in China, Japan, and Korea (and considering Luna clearly isn't Asian due to her name and to a lesser extent appearance, that would mean she's most likely Russian). The only other possibility is Mongolian, and considering Luna isn't even a Mongolian name, we're ruling that bit out.
And yeah, Xtreme 3 really needs more updates (and quite frankly, I hope they add even more characters besides possibly Tamaki, especially when Luna, Fiona, and Monica have no confirmed nationalities, while the rest at least either had their nationalities confirmed in past games, or otherwise are a very safe bet to be Japanese).
As much as I want to believe you, the Wikipedia article for roasted sweet potatoes makes it sound as if it's limited to Korea, Japan, and China:Omg. ......you’re using Wikipedia as your source.... big oof...As much as I want to believe you, the Wikipedia article for roasted sweet potatoes makes it sound as if it's limited to Korea, Japan, and China:

That's also one of the reasons why I was largely confused as to where exactly she originated from, as "Luna" isn't a Japanese name, or even an Asian name for that matter.
I agree with both of your comments Retro. Even appearance-wise she seems to be from a Soviet country.......you’re using Wikipedia as your source.... big oof...
You aren’t going to change my mind. I mean potatoes are a hardy vegetable that can grow in many environments. Legitimately, many cultures, specifically poor and farming cultures roast potatoes for food and sustainability. You can’t eat a raw potato. You’d break your teeth...
I know that Sweet Potatoes are eaten in multiple countries, and that Sweet Potatoes are consumed in South America. That was never the issue, the issue is where specifically Roasted Sweet Potatoes were generally eaten, especially when Wikipedia made it sound as though Roasted Sweet Potatoes (NOT Sweet Potatoes in general, specifically Roasted Sweet Potatoes) were strictly eaten in East Asia.I agree with both of your comments Retro. Even appearance-wise she seems to be from a Soviet country.
And like you said sweet potatoes are eaten in so many countries. The origins of it are in the Americas, and from there it was exported to all over the world
