How's Soul Calibur 6 currently? I know Namco has it steady with this game, but how is it now compared to it's launch week/month? update got it better? haven't played SC6 yet as i'm waiting for price drops (missed the sales like twice for Steam).
Idk if too many people play it buts it got updated when Amy was released but I think it'll become more active once Cassandra is released and the DLC comes out. Some people don't like the current updates since now guard stamina can be depleted much quicker so that hurts alot of players(and annoys pro players) since they're being negatively affected for guard impacting and blocking and such

Bandai must be comprised of sloths, tortoises and snails. It'll be the year 3000 before Cassandra or Lizard-Man makes it into this game.

Found the perfect head item for SC1 Rock. Pretty cool looking female Siegfried piece, lovely Chinese dress, and awesome to see SCIV Nightmare P2 costume.
Hopefully they'll also have the tiger lily set since that has a thong involved in it xD and I hope they add more hairstyles as well, there's a ton from SC4 they could use like Shura's long knee length ponytail and Ashlotte's long braid as well too

One thing I would hope to see is Executioner's Fauld to upgrade Rock's (Soul Edge/Soul Blade) Warrior Pants which is just Heart object, and when broken hes wearing a fundoshi, and would love to see these outfits that originally came from Soulcalibur Lost Swords:

Ever since we had Arcane Knight Armor & Female Pirate costume (which they came from SC Lost Swords), since these outfits were made by artist (similar to what Tekken & DOA5 has) so it opens the possibilities.

The more I watch high level SCVI, the more this game's mechanics annoy the shit out of me.

Can't wait for 2099 when Bandai finally reveals Cassandra.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Fighting Azwel & Voldo are cancer in SCVI.
If I have to watch Azwel throw his big, dumb, telegraphed spear repeatedly only to see someone get bopped by it because the freestep responsiveness is fucked I'm going to sink further into my depression.

It's funny, 'cause DOA typically works the opposite way for me. One of the biggest differences in high-level DOA play vs low-level DOA play is the difference in defense. High-level players know how to deal with those pressure scenarios and punish random button-pressing hard.

Then there's SCVI, where patience is penalized by a fucking guard meter. I wonder if I'm doing something fundamentally wrong, so I look to the tournament players. Not really. Guards are getting broken left-and-right by random shit leading into R/O combos and YOLO spam. Opponent moves in with crazy, button-raping pressure. "Better press RE and hope for the best!"

God, I miss SCII.

Fair enough. Majority of Top 8 did involve pretty abusive characters. SCVI got rid of Algol & Viola and replaced them with Azwel, along with making characters like Ivy, or Siegfried more annoying. Yeah, I really wish that Project Soul just remixed SCII's gameplay in SCVI, because I do admit that every new gameplay mechanical feature in SCVI irritates me. I don't know why game companies feel the need to muck things up like that.
