Since we are talking about the character designs, I do really like most of the first defaults of MK11. I like Scorpion's especially:
It's a beautiful mix of fantasy and actual traditional Japanese garbs. The color scheme (which is coincidentally that of the German flag: black, red and gold, lol) is really popping. They put so much detail into everything, even modelling the smallest of fabric folds.

I did notice, and I already mentioned it to
@Jadeinchains, that the character designers of MK11 seem to be much more comfortable to give the male characters revealing clothing than they seem to be in regards to the female characters. Almost every male character has at least one shirtless costume or one that strategically reveals the pecs or abs, whereas the women are generally much more conservatively dressed, very contrary to their designs in older MKs. They still have beautiful, feminine designs (Jade, Scarlet, Kitana...), but it is something noticable.
Anyway I'm happy to see that Jade is getting attention in MK11 and was one of the characters chosen to be in the beta.
