Typically yes. The game has to be ready two months before release. My only guess now is that they're just doing extra polishing for the day one patch.

And I'm so glad we get a stage with a breakable object, I can't wait to play around with Kasumi in that stage! Also everyone be on the lookout tomorrow for that PlayStation Festival on Twitter, that's when we'll likely see more costumes and any added characters and hopefully a new unannounced stage as well in the latest build they plan to use
Speaking of PS Fes, will there be a stream? or we'll just have to watch phone cam footage in 240P 30FPS again?
A General thread doesn't work. It's not a constructive way of informing people. @HHH816 instead make a topic that states "ESRB Rating" and begin to make that a common practice as it is off-topic from the DOA graphics thread.
There isn't a problem with the graphics thread... and there isn't a problem with the DOA6 costume thread as long as they can both stay on topic.
I looked at the link DOATEC Official provided and it said stage events would be "delivered" by streaming broadcasting but idk if DOA6 is a stage event. Either way we'll probably see alot of off camera phone footage and some pics of new costumes and hairstyles. The festival starts at 11am I'm assuming Japan time and ends at 6pm or 18:00.

I have to say though...this video isn't always flattering DOA6. With the strong video compression there's often not much of a difference visible. DOA6 is more an improvement in the fine details.
The jungle stage of DOA5 looked way better than the similar Jurrassic Park stage though, lol. Nicer lighting, more vegetation an overall detail and even the water effects were more convincing.

Welp I guess we won't be getting any new gameplay after all, I'm guessing since PlayStation festival is/was a more private affair to register at, they weren't allowed to record footage. I looked in the DOA6 hashtags and this guy did attend(He played Honoka) but he wasn't allowed to record while playing according to his translation -_-
That's the last public build to my knowledge so it seems we'll just have to go with what TN posts on their Twitter until release. I wonder if that build they had did have everyone up to this point tho? He seemed to be playing arcade mode

A lot of the differences I notice are just lighting changes, but the 6 models really do look a lot more realistic and lively. I’m still so impressed by Diego’s face.
The only faces I notice that have changed are Helena and Eliot. Helena looks infinitely better and (bringing up another post here) Eliot’s new face looks more like his DOA4 face than his 5 face ever did. He looks great.

I think Lisa, Tina, and Leifang look the most improved (they were never bad) out of the bunch. Lisa being the best. I didnt noticed Kokoro until I saw people talking about her, but somethings off about her face.....I cant put my finger on whats different tho. The hair maybe?? shrugs
As apparently all character have been revealed, I am praying they are not done with stage reveals yet. Let's please get to the grand, beautiful and imaginative stages now. The latest stages Miyabi and Unforgettable were a step in the right direction already, but...
...where are the stages taking place inside an icy glacier, in a raging thunderstorm, inside a heavenly stained-glass cathedral, in a burning opera or deep under sea amidst a colorful coral reef?
Let's remind ourselves how beautiful and imaginative DOA stages once were:
Even though these stages were made several console generations ago they still remain as imaginative and as beautiful as they were back then.
