Love these new combos.
I don't think it's that bad. It's essentially the replacement for Critical Burst. Now if we could cancel straight into a power launcher afterward I would be completely sold!I'm not a fan of being able to cancel the BB like that.
Break Blow cancels are fine as they allow for some more creativity in combos for the cost of a full stick of butter. More importantly, it allows for more options options for guaranteed damage - something that ends up emphasizing the neutral more.
I think they already showcased the mechanics, I think they’re busy now with balancing the mechanics stages and characters at this point since they don’t have much time left.Do you guys expect a new mechanic to be revealed or do you think TN exposed all their new mechanics day one ?
It's tempered by the fact that they're spending their entire bar to do it, so they're sacrificing options for it.I just don't agree with it since it can be used during a juggle. Its a little excessive to me.
There's no more force teching for 6? I think I seen a video, but I'm not sure.

That sounds almost like DOA4's ground game, except in that game it required 2x 2Ks or 2k and any low.Force techs are still in the game but only from a natural combo force get up. (2x 2Ps or lows in general that leaves up to a 2-hit combo mark on ground will force someone up, however single hard hitting grounded attacks such as Helena's sweep no longer force tech currently).

like I said before,2-hit FT exists, but they can WUK you in the face when you try to force-tech them even you have a huge ground advantages, like leifeng's 2HK in juggle, zack 6K2K normal hit etc.
The only chance that you can successfully force-tech your opponent is they lie on the floor wihout push a button until you hit them twice .oh one more thing,if you hit them once and trying to hit them another, they can still WUK your ass lol.
So,yes,force-tech still in this game,fact
PS:tested in TGS build, might be changed
oh well I know that,it usually happens in wall games,or some charactors' pseudo force-tech set upsAt certain level of play, you can create a scenario by whiffing certain attacks or ones with huge amount of recovery to where a certain low will connect afterwards and prevent wake up attack options. There are setups in DOA that prevents wake up kicks in general the moment they touch the ground, sometimes you can whiff a throw near the wall into a 2P and the low will connect. Just depends the advantage you have and recovery to where you are not open for a free wake up attack.
Example like Hayabusa, if you whiff a 6T near a wall after you splat with PP4PP, he can land 7K at that very same moment for when someone wants to wake up kick and completely prevents them from doing it. He has an unholdable for this situation with another move, and the 7K that stops wake up kicks giving him advantage.
