DOA6 New Character Speculation

According to Shimbori's interviewed "main roster based on whom involved in DOA5 story not popularity vote...." Is this what he and TN planned or have no intention to bring TRULY main roster? since he couldn't tell us anything yet....

I'd like to see a creature in the roster. Not necessarely a furry, but an animal created by MIST. Something weird or cute, but which could be a mascot for TN, with an unconventional moveset.

A ninja cat (nyanja) using Tiger Fist? He could be Kokoro's best friend and take good care of her while she escapes from her hometown after hearing her mother's involvement in the whole ninja drama.

I know this suggestion is a bit unpopular, but I want them to surprise us with a different fighter. I mean, DOA's DNA can be about ninjas, boobs, and cats... oh and yeah, you could even customize his appearance! Come on!

If Lisa have more chance to main roster, but wait until TN going to treat her and Christie better especially they lacked to show their story in doa5 it pissed me off

Another story, I just think of a character who were based on this...

Yasuke The black samurai from Nioh would be great addition for other African fighter who uses his tradition martial art mixed with African dance routine, don't get me wrong, cause i'd like to see the diversity of DOA series that used KT franchise reference for new character.

For the base roster:

- A korean female hapkido's fighter, with a role similar to Hitomi, but more mature (25 years old or more).

DLCs:

- Luna from XVV as a cute clumsy sumo's fighter. She doesn't know to fight and she's clumsy, so make her a clumsy fighter with sumo's moves, that would be fun and cute.

- An egyptian girl with a fighting style that envolves dancing or feline moves.

- An afroamerican boxer.

Guest:

- Tifa (FFVII), Blaze (Street of Rage), William (Nioh) [I like the idea of a female descendant) and Lili (Tekken)

a cyborg/ android would be nice, since it can be incorporated pretty easily into the story. also the moveset possibilities are endless.

Luna as a DLC with Sumo or a dancing art is not impossible in a (very) distant future.

What would the Korean girl's hapkido bring in terms of new individuality ? I'm not familiar with this martial art.

Don't mean to be rude, but i'd rather not have the typical Menat-like Egyptian fighter. Any other nationality would be fine for me. The same applies to an A-M boxer. Let's find another creative origin!

With the new female character about to be announced soon (TGS? a few months?), it would be nice to see what you guys really would like for a fighting style. Only one option!

If the new girl turned out to be a "creature" I would be okay with that. I want to see different body types like that of Marie Rose and Rachel to really mix-up the roster.

Here’s the reality, Kokoro isn’t aware of anything except for Helena and their deceased mysterious dad. TeamNinja will have to think of something good to put her in the story to feel natural. In DOA5 her story ended with a conclusion. So I don’t really see her returning in the story. However DLC is possible. But who knows I hope I’m very wrong.

Before anyone grab their pitchforks and come after me, hear me out. I personally feel Kokoro might be in trouble. In DOA4 she had the urge for fighting even though she’s a Geshia. Her mom, didn’t like it due to the dark secrets behind DOATEC, but respected her daughter wishes. During the tournament Kokoro stumbles across Helena and finds out she’s her half sister. In DOA5 Kokoro wanted to meet Helena again and talk to her once more and she did. Pretty much her goal is completed. So yeah, in terms of story, Kokoro fans should be very nervous. Mr Shimbori said the characters are returning base on Storytelling not popularity. I’m surprised no one ever thought of that. Also People adding her story with Helena would seem pretty force and unnatural. Another thing, I don’t think Helena would want Kokoro involved in such drama.

i feel like if they found a way for hitomi to be relevant, kokoro sould be easy. She owns half of doatec. She knows Lisa/lisa knows her. If mila returns and bbykoko doesnt.....
