What would you like to see in DOA6?

A solid roster. Most of 5 I assume will come back so that'll be good. Hopefully the new characters will be cool too!
An even deeper training mode. I love to lab things out, so make it all clean but detailed.
Better online. Good lobbies and matchmaking.
That's basically all I want out of fighting games, so I guess some cool costumes or maybe some customization?

Can I just say I am shocked to find out the VA of Hitomi from DOA3-U2 is the same one from DOA4-5!

Why does she sound like a child now?

Just compare the same intro from U2 and 5

Obviously I want her to be like how she was before and stop the moe shit they forced on her :(

I agree af! She was cool in 3, too moe in 4, then they sorta made her a fusion of her 3 and 4 self in doa5(which i'm pretty okay with).

Maybe in doa6 they will make her more like her doa3 self with this more 'serious' take on doa

Voice direction, pretty much all the girls suffered that in the transition to DOA4. They all originally sounded like fighters but I supposed to make the game appeal more to moe/genki girl fans they asked the Japanese VAs to sound more upbeat and cutesy and such which I like, but when they get hit and actually strike their opponents, it sounds way too stylish and animr. The English VAs do a way better job sounding like they actually took a hit but I do like Hitomi's DOA5 Japanese voice, it sounds awful in X3 tho xD
One stage per character.
I don't want one stage per character since that takes away alot of potential new stages but I would like new updated character themes that sound better and remixed.

Now that you mentioned it, I remember one of Leifang's intro sounding awful in DOA4 as well (The ready to fight one I believe?). Medicore VA in general really bothers me. I am also upset they changed Jann Lee's VA because the current one is not doing him justice. I would never ever play with the English Voices not matter how bad the Japanese ones are Leifang, Tina and Hitomi's english VAs are some of the worst I've ever heard, although Kasumi's english VA did well.

Going to reiterate the need for bulge physics. Imagine Rig's intro or Bass's - I bet you a lot more people besides Tina start calling him "daddy."

I actually don't mind one stage per character... I actually like the idea, where the stage is one of the favorite places of each said character. It adds to the depth and personally of both the stages and the characters. And that doesn't mean there can't be more stages.

Eliot with bulge and ass physics.... I don't know if I would be able to handle that XD I don't think it would happen unfortunately tho, the most you can expect is maybe better muscles and whatever else they can get away with

Tina, Hitomi, and Leifang don't have bad voices tbh, Tina sounds like Texas bama like she should, Hitomi sounds like a typical college student chick and Leifang sounds good, her hit sounds are just strange and when she was imitating the Japanese VA she didn't do such a good job making it sound natural xD When you're used to a certain language its natural tho to not like a different take on the dub, like when I got into DOA I wasn't too fond of the Japanese audio myself

I just don't want that tbh, I rather have good solid stages and not themed stages. DOA6 should do a variety with maybe one or three characters getting their own stage or one they're tied to. Characters are already linked to certain stages for the most part like when you think of Lorelei in DOA5 Helena and Christie and Marie Rose come to mind, and when you think of Zack Island, Zack and all the girls come to mind xD

If we consider the roster that would make a lot of new stages actually.I'd like to see the legacy stages come back for sure but if they decided to start anew it wouldn't bother me at all.

The overall idea of one stage per character is to express different personalities through various settings.

Whatever they decide i just want the old dna to come back. More structured stages with depth and height, several layers and over the top interactions especially with the latest inclusion of Break Hold reversing positions, which is exactly what we didn't get from the early build.

And yeah i know they said it will come back later, but it's already two stale stages imho.

I agree completely with the first part of this post. I'd love to see The Great Opera, Dragon Hills, and Spiral from 2 get a rework with some updated stage hazards and stuff. Fortunately via the trailer we can assume at least one highly requested stage is coming back.

Everything is so fucking flat in DOA 5 :(

I'll always remember the first day i saw DOA2 running on dreamcast in a game Shop.

The stages blew my mind, and seeing fighters flying all around was dope af...

See that fight between Lei Fang and Bass ? That's what i mean :D

Btw that soundtrack !!! Nerdgasm

And now we have this(the cliff animation at the end which is so anticlimatic...)

Wtf ?

I think the streets, and the bottom of the jungle and scramble are pretty bland, but I do love that they are multi-tiered and require travel, or a flashy moment to get to the next part of the map -- but of course it's harder for them to hold up after thousands of matches. The Seaside Market holds up today for me because of how big and colorful it is, and I do hope that returns to DOA6.

Also, I could not stand the circus on any level, at least as eye candy, but I've had many fun matches there.

The Throwdown stage looks like a lot of fun, there is a lot more life to it with thugs throwing you back in the match a lot more consistently using the environmental aspect of DOA's gameplay. Also the stage uses some of the best shadows, lighting I've seen in DOA; especially so early on in development.

I agree the jungle rapids stage is bland... Well except for when the raft breaks and it gets stuck on the waterfall and the music changes, I think that transition part is the most beautiful and dramatic stage in DOA5 with the Hot Zone military stage one(That's the darkest DOA5 stage imo) and the Lost World stage coming in second. The circus stage was weak sauce, but ngl it had some sexy hot lighting in the "coming soon" variant, I love using it for pics and such xD

The throw down stage imo isnt bland, it's a good representation of the more serious direction DOA6 is going, plus I love dark night time stages with a grunge type feel xD the stage imo would be even better with like a small dirty puddle of water on the ground and maybe like some police officers in the background trying use an air horn to break up the fight like in the Hot Zone xD

It's too serious for me and flat plus NPCs look bigger than the characters, they seem out of place.Doa is about martial art and wrestlers and not back alley MMA.It reminds me Def Jam fight for NY :p Seeing hayate and habayuza fighting there is weird.Unless Snoop Dogg is a guest character ? :D

Generic idea.

I can understand that, although in fighting games I feel stages should be varied and such. Like in Tekken Lili wouldn't realistically fight in a stage like this XD

But it's a cool map that stands out from the others. But the throw down is sort of generic since it kinda looks like the bottom level of the streets stage set at night tbh xD
