Aparently big boobs make you less human.
God this game is becoming a mess.
The only thing that is a mess is the interviews like first IGN article & gamespot.
Going to save this quote and credit you, and it's going to be my default response every time someone necros this subject.
If you plan on using other quotes and make it you default response. Can you give them this? "Of course we’re going to tone down at this point, but for downloadable content, we have to see what gamers really want, what their response is. Not all the gamers want the same thing, but we want to ask their opinions, all of them, and get feedback on it."

You are aware that developers often claim stuff that they think the media or public wants to hear, but which isn't entirely true? E3 is a Western event, sexualizing of female characters has become a very controversial topic here, and especially DOA has a bad reputation in that regard. Had they not spinned the announcement into this much more proper, more mature and eSport-friendly revolution of the series, IGN and other gaming outlets would have torn DOA6 apart. They were however directly relying on IGN (which handled the reveal) and other gaming media outlets to make positive promo for the DOA6 announcement.
It's also not the first time they claimed to dial back sexualization either. Does DOA5 ring a bell?
They shouldn't make claims on what media or public wants especially if your taking the DOA5 approach once they repeat history like including sexual costumes, the media will bash them again. What they need to do is ignore the gaming media, and only cater to what people want out of DOA like sex appeal. If you make content the media doesn't like, these groups have 0 power other than writing hit pieces. The only thing the media would want to do is becoming gate keepers and policing content they find offensive. Holding back only shows the developers doesn't have a spine.
At least we won't have to hear about that silly petition anymore.... The only petition I would sign concerning DOA6 would be one like this I made up xD
https://www.change.org/p/freestepdo...iners-complainers-from-complaining-about-doa6
Also is he really gone for good? I saw him post on Rikuto's page and he said in one of the statuses that he's a "victim" or something. I tried to warn him >.>
Wow...
"DOA6 is only 8% finished and these blind whiners and complainers are saying DOA6 is "censored", the girls will have smaller boobs, the fanservice is being taken out, and the game is promoting "abuse" even though the guys and girls have been getting jacked up since DOA1."
While it is annoying to hear all the complaining about stuff that isn't fully complete along with certain things that was already cleared up at E3 & gameinformer. The only way they'll be properly happy is if they reveal certain characters that have skimpy designs like Ivy & Talim maybe, or maybe give them a proper platform so they can input their feedback on what they want for DLC which in return pay for the content.
"These complainers aren't real fans and are just mad they can't stroke their joysticks anymore since the game is maturing."
I think the whole "these complainers aren't real fans" needs a proper testing like showing off their collection, how they got into the series, and ask them what is DOA. What if these people like DOA for the sex appeal which is why their not happy with it being toned down from DOA5 DLC. The "game is maturing" is such a stupid term, it is nothing more than a dumb word to make sure you can feel comfortable with the game and not feel ashamed of its content which clearly isn't made for you.
"Please sign this petition so that we can silence these people once and for all since they don't have a clue what they're talking about and they're doing nothing more than just being caricatures of what people think DOA fans are as a majority! Hell no! Let's silence them once and for all!"
If you want these people to be silence once and for all there are far better ways than your disgusting attempt at violating free speech. If I were to be signing petition as a fellow DOA fan, I would sign up Helena Douglas DOATEC than signing something that is pure pointless, and have better ways than removing speech your petition.
I could solve your problem at getting them to stop complaining by going to EVO & finding Shimbori which I plan on doing, because I want to ask him about where people can input their feedback on what they want in DOA (considering what was said in gameinformer). If you don't want to hear anymore complaints you should ignore them and maybe take a break from social media. If your concern on what people will think "DOA fans as the majority", you'd be doing yourself a better favor and give up on DOA. Let DOA be the creation of what Itagaki & New Team (DOA5, DOAX3, & DOAXVV) created themselves, and ask for a new IP series.
In addition, DOA6 appears to be more or less the same as it were in the previous games. The only real thing that might be toned down are the nature of the DLC costumes.
The DLC isn't likely to be toned down due to what was said in the gameinformer interview which I posted in responding to NewWestFan, but DOA6 seems to be following what DOA5 Launch use to did.
