This is the same information we got an actual month ago. Not complaining or anything it's just funny to me how behind some game "Journalist" websites can be. TN sure has generated a lot of attention for DOA 6. Probably their intent.

There's pull back from "going eSports" because it takes away the focus and community from the grassroots scenes. eSports is generally looked at as "corporate" money and "corporate" run. In the past, as corporations started trying to get in, it took no advice from the existing grassroots scenes and typically bombed because of it (5 single round matches of DOA4 on top of a rope bridge?). Sad thing is that people don't realize eventually the scene will have to transition to invitation only and singular events, leaving the grassroots tournaments such as CEO, NEC, and Final Round to be used as "scouting sessions" for those invitationals. eSports is all about making stories to sell to viewers and get them interested in players. It's the reason things like SFvPL 13-0 was talked about and remembered more than any other event at that Summer Jam, and that's just one example.
While you're correct (sans DOA2's turning on/off based on your age being over/under 18), I think the more prevalent point is that it's an example of how the general audience of gamers see the game series. That mentality of "she kicks high" was ingrained deep, and is something at least the current team doesn't want associated with the series. I know it's difficult for some in the community to actually get an idea of just how small the existing community is compared to the potential community there could be.
Right, but to someone who is on the outside looking in, with their predefined notions that the game is just "A big titty fighter with no actual value, substance, or depth because when you market sex then it means you must not have much of anything else to market to." it helps open their eyes to the other things that already existed. It also is just marketing placebo in that someone who didn't actually play the previous iterations for 'reasons' can feel comfortable enough to give it another shot. I mean, these character meshes are basically straight out of DOA5 with no alterations, and most of the visual differences are due to the lighting system more than any idea to alter Kasumi's bust to look like 86 cm instead of 89 cm.

Look at Kasumi, her chest is just as unnaturally big as in DOA5. They probably mean not as huge melons as in DOAX3? That's right.
Look at her character render, she has the exact same body type she had in DOA 5. She doesn't look any fitter or more like a teenager either.
Look at both Kasumi's and Helena's costumes, they are no more practical or less sexualized than characters' default costumes were in DOA5. Here they are either still super tight (Kasumi) or revealing plenty of skin (Helena). Especially Kasumi's suit is as sexualized as it can possibly be, super tight and with tiny armor bits that barely cover her chest and crotch. The way it is designed is to especially accentuate and sexualize the female body form. Her black DOA5 suit was less sexualized.
I don't know what is funnier, Koei Tecmo actually thinking they can trick people by saying all this stuff, while showing us the direct opposite, or people actually believing them, while seeing what is shown, and them making a huge fuss over it.
Considering people are flipping out in DOA Reddit about it tells you otherwise...

I don't really think they made the breasts smaller tbh, people thought that was the case in DOA5 but the game devs just made the girls more realistically proportioned unlike DOA4 and backwards. And its a known observation that in DOA5 some costumes make the boobs seem or look larger or smaller, like if you look at Kasumi's violet bikini and compare it to her Mandarin DLC dress, they do seem slightly smallet but more or so since they seem to slightly droop a bit in the violet bikini.
I think TN is just saying that and leaving out how they'll add breast jiggle so the boobs and sex appeal won't be the main point when they start making more reveals which is smart imo although it's obvious the girl's bodies hardly changed xD they're just wearing more clothing and Kasumi's armor seems to compress her chest a bit to make them seem smaller

This is exactly it. A compressing armored top with a matte non glossy black under layer that is completely modest and gives her a smooth almost flat chested look no matter the lighting from the front.

But watch the boycotting accounts on Twitter blow that out of proportion and complain even more because the boobs got "smaller" and there's "no more jiggle" and the "girls are getting abused and TN is encouraging abuse" xD
@Helena Douglas DOATEC I'm sorry but I can't accept that petition, Shimbori isnt a female firstly, and he isn't turning his back on the game or trying to please "feminism" ideals. He's just maturing the game up, it's still the same. In fact feminists are gonna complain anyway since now they think the game devs are promoting abuse. Making a petition also isn't going to change anything unfortunately
