Yeah, it looks so good. I think they really nailed the art style. It's realistic yet also stylized in its beautiful use of color and lighting. It is so recognizable.

@Jadeinchains, aren't those the most beautiful working ants that you've ever seen in an open world RPG on console?

That's a really incredible little touch, I wonder what else there is like it in this game with wildlife.

Unravel, this game is very pretty and at times looks almost real

I love the main character from that, when it was announced I was actually pretty interested in it. ( I remember the e3 reaction with the guy everyone liked who presented it. )

I've seen more gameplay of it though and it really is beautiful.

And lol no @Tyaren I guess it wasn't that hard to say, all things aside it is very pretty, I'm sure you'll take a lot of pictures when it comes out!

I got unravel long ago, it's beautiful and has a wonderful story. Highly recommended. It's also Swedish, so background pictures and stuff is Swedish, kinda fun. (Swedish and Norwegian are extremely similar)

Time to ask a 101 questions, Has much been said about this games world? It's on earth in the future I guess but where? It seems like sky net took over the world and then everything beside humans became robots... is everyone a vegetarian then or do they eat metal? Is there non robot animals? Those "most beautiful ants" seemed like normal ants.

It's a post-post-apocalyptic world. Yes, we are in the future, about 1000 years after apocalypse, but also back in the age of hunters and gatherers.
It's a fictional world, because there are no real life places where snowy mountains are so close to the desert and jungle, but the regions are heavily influenced by real life locations, such as Colorado:

No, there are actually still normal animals of flesh and blood around. You also hunt them in the game for recources. If there were no animals, how would Aloy and her tribe even be dressed in leather and wool? XD
It's just that there are additionally these robotic creatures that survived the apocalpse, maybe even had something to do with it? I think we will learn about that in the story.

I remember seeing this game last summer during that Sony conference thing a friend told me about. The game looks beautiful and the graphics are probably the best I've seen so far on the ps4 console....but the game itself isn't my taste. I'm more interested in modern day games like FFXV and if it is taking place in a earth type setting like that I'd prefer it to be like Dragon Quest. I don't plan on getting the game because of that reason since the overall plot kind of bores me, if I got it I'd just basically be taking screenshots and not actually playing which is something I don't want.

If anything this game shows that developers can really get along out of the PS4 game console, and since it's open world it's definitely a feat! XD I'm pretty sure it'll leave your console humming tho for sure

The Pro makes hardly any sound with any game so far. I just hear the ventilator very gently humming if I concentrate on it or get very close to it with my ear.
