I want to see that city that was apparently like Manchester.

Huh? But you actually saw it. Gralea, the Niflheim capital was inspired by Manchester and other early industrial revolution cities of Britain with all it's factories, machinery, tall chimneys and smoke:

There is some concept art, which I of course don't find now, that illustrates it better.

Wait really?! The skyscrapers everywhere definitely threw me off then because even with the one mechanical areas I never considered that Gralea was the Manchester one. I liked Gralea though, its actually vereverey similar to Insomnia being a big city surrounded by nothing and what seems to be a self sustained city of skyscrapers... To bad we learned nothing about it or the people who live there! -_-

Hey [chapter 13...]
But we learned that all the people there turned into beautiful [?] Daemons ;)
And also that kids were used for experiments. It was kinda sad to see what they used to wear on the floor through the whole dungeon.

Not to forget Puronputo-kun was one of them but he fortunately managed to escape somehow and was adopted by a Lucian family.

It seemed more like a certain number of people had turned into daemons but not everyone, probably just a small minority, and yeah I saw that they'd been experimenting on the children of the city, I'd like to know how Prompto escaped? I'd like to then more though about the city.

Yet again! If there was a FFXIII codex in this game lots of this stuff could be cleared up like in XIII.

Speaking of XIII...(chapter 13)
Did anyone else find it hilarious how half of chapter 13 was literal hallways, AFTER claiming the end parts of XV wouldn't be XIII linear?

I suppose its only fitting that it be linear, I think we can all agree that chapter 13 was the weak point.

After Leviathan battle was when linear properties kicked in. Chapter 13 was merely a perfect example of it.

Before that? a train ride into one way and only stopping in two areas. My, how "linear". Pun enabled.

Oh wow, forgot about FF12 coming. It's been a long time since I played it. It'll be fun doing those bounty quests again, especially this one.

So Is it just @KasumiLover69 @YBNDM and @Chapstick that need to complete the game that are regulars on this thread?

And yeah Destruction once it gets to that point is when It goes into a linear story, I found it fun though If the areas were open those sections would have taken dozens of more hours to complete them.
I'm nowhere near done, halfway through chapter 3 and just made it to lestallum xD

Okay. :) I was asking since obviously for the older games people don't really put spoilers in spoiler tags so I'm wondering when people will just start to post spoilers in here, I think people should wait for now.

Also I'm not sure about getting FFXII remaster when it comes out since It wasn't completely my thing an like I said before I played it years ago before I finally got into the FF franchise and I was pretty awful at it and got stuck on an airship. Fran was definitely the best part about it for, Maybe If I played it now I'd be able to complete it because I have more experience now but I'm not sure. Also Isn't it just in a month or two that it's released?

... Okay well when that gets delayed, jk hopefully it will comes out this year for those who want it but I'm so on the edge of If I do cause I'd hate to buy it and then be so embarrassing crap that I can't complete it, I'm hoping the first episode of FFVII remake comes out this year but I know Square love to reveal things on average 8 or so years before actually releasing them.

Dont worry, ff12 izjs will be worth the wait. I consider it one of the best games in the series. It takes a game I already enjoyed quite a bit, and enhanced it in pretty much every way.

What's interesting is that FFXII wasn't really a hard game either but rather....different. I have to admit it as well but it took me somewhat of a week to fully grasp 12's system because it's much different compared to the previous ones before it. It was a sudden leap to a new area of learning. At first I didn't like it, but that's because it was in the early section of the game where you didn't have the necessary skills to blow things out, as soon as you started acquiring new skills and Quickenings the game suddenly became more fun and more enjoyable. It started off real slow for me and lack of motivation for it. I didn't even learn Vaan's first Quickening until midway in the game. Hilarious right? I know.

Good news, the izjs version lets you pretty much purchase every single gambit at the very beginning of the game. And the job system allows your characters to become really really good at one role, much stronger than they could have in the vanilla version. And quickenings dont use mp anymore, plus the new speedup button for grinding and traveling, plus zoning once now respawns chests and enemies instead of having to zone twice. Etc...
