DLC Costumes

Fan outfits happen only once or maybe twice a year where the designs are hit/miss due to the different artists involved while there hasn't been any more legacy outfits since the initial one flopped probably because FSD was the only ones that bought them.

They toned down the amount of swimsuits/fetish, but instead focus on collabs now because DoA 5 is pretty much a walking advertisement at this point.

They should have more though of the fan designs since even if they might be hit and miss they are a lot more exciting with them being peoples designs and with the teasers leading up to it.

In defence of the collabs (i do agree they need to calm down) they've introduced me to the Warriors series, Deception, KOF and Senran Kagura, lol.

Not really I don't personally find them any more or less exciting just because it's made by X instead of Y. End of the day it matters how the design turns out where it can be hit/miss which can be said for every other costume pack.

They've gotten a lot better at teasing too, that Aquaplus one wasn't a cocktease for example, they posted two new character pics per day which was great. You already know the pack is likely bad if they don't show anything until just the day before it releases, case in point that Yukata pack.

Do they though? The design packs always have teasers weeks in advance leading up to the pack with a picture of just the leg or something and then people search around for the design. I just find the design packs really cool.

I do hope they will be doing teasers like with the aqua plus though with the them before release.

* Dynasty Warriors Collab Costume Pack

Not counting real life monthly Costume packs for the likes of Chinese New Year, Valentine, Halloween & Christmas, which are predictable

As for DOAX3 should also have Kamen Rider-Tan Costume Pack (+ Henshin sequence scene (starting w/ wearing primary DOA5 outfit first)). Eg.: Honoka as Kamen Rider-tan Drive

They were lowkey just mad imo that DOA was using an identical DLC model. I still agree that they probably won't be willing to collab with DOA although it won't hurt their image or anything since the girls in SF are equally hoed out and sexualized.
