Lol I like Lestallum I can't help it! Xp I'm okay with the location they pick since I'm pretty sure it will be a good direction they take.

Lestallum is a very pretty town. They clearly put a lot of work and effort into it design-wise.

Sadly it feels a bit empty behind it's initially bustling facade. I wished there were a couple more squares and NPC quest givers. It's probably still the best town a FF ever had.

I do like how much it's vibe changes from day to night, when all the lights shine and the hot ladies from the power station have end of shift. ;)

Other people might say towns from the older games but yeah I'd say my favorite town has to be Lestallum. I'm wondering what others would be? XV might be my favourite game in the series? Ton berries are still my favourite creature though.

Also lol yeah the citizens of Lestallum are like 90% female which I actually liked since it was interesting. I loved the look of it though even if it could have been a bit bigger. I was hoping there'd be a clothes shop for more customization.

Do you know who also likes Tonberries? :D

With best city I meant a place that resembles a real life city. The way it looks, how it is set up, how it works. As I mentioned, on a very first glimpse the town feels truly alive. It's mostly facade though. Behind the impressive and bustling promenade towards the meteor shard there's hardly any substance. There's literally just one, single NPC worth mentioning:

All other quests you get from informants/restaurant owners...which is so unpersonal and doesn't help to flesh out the town and it's citizens at all.
I think the size is alright...even though it is on the smaller scale of open world RPG cities. Everything is very densely built though. Yeah from a purely artistic point of view Lestallum is gorgeous, I think like it even more than Beauclair from the Witcher 3, from a gameplay perspective not so much. :/

Yeah they could have done more with it, hopefully they will over the course of the games life since they could have events happen at it to let us learn more about it, that's why I wish we had a codex or so so that we could read up on the city and its powerplant etc and the people of Duscae. There's so many ways that they could flesh out the world so I hope they do. I also wonder what the relationship between Lestallum and Insomnia is since its annexed from it and Insomnia seems to be unfriendly to outsiders.

I wouldn't mind more games or movies set in Eos even if they deal with other things like other countries and characters. I can't tell if the Moogle festival takes place in Lestallum or next to the volcano?

Lol, those Tonberrys have lightsabers and really like to jump.... run for your lives or kill them with fire!!!!!

Anyway now that we're talking about cities, if I recal correctly... weren't there concepts about London and Greece-inspired cities? I would have really liked to see those in the game :(

The Moogle festival takes place in Altissia, you can see the water/waterfalls and the gondolas clearly in that promotional image. Perhaps they'll let us explore a new area of the city? (I really doubt it xD)

When will they show Noctis as the next Dissidia character again, like a game play preview?

I hope soon. :) After playing the game and actually coming to like Noctis, I am really excited for this. Weird that they unveiled Rabanastre today and not the Citadel or Duscae... Well, maybe they plan to make the reveal a little bigger.
There's the big 30th anniversary of Final Fantasy opening event on January 30th 2017.

Yeah, those were all cut. Remember the huge trainstation?

A leak says there were whole regions, dungeons and towns nearly finished but they still had to cut them from the game because of rewrites of the story or the 2016 release date. Let's wait and see if we will ever see that stuff...

Omg lol I must be oblivious! XD how did I not notice that? I looked at the image again and yeah its Altissa! That's interesting though, I hope we do get to explore more of that city because we really didn't and when I looked at the map I thought wow the cities huge and then you couldn't explore it all.

And yeah I remember seeing something about a Manchester inspired city and I didn't really see that. I wish there was more cities but oh well, I want to see more of Altissa since its the capital of Arcordo but we didn't see anymore of it.

Wow that's a shame! I'd have liked other towns in the game, You know I've seen roads at the edge of the map that lead into dead end tunnels and so I think it's possible that in the future dlc those roads could be opened up into the regions and towns that they worked on. I guess We'll have to see but If the episodes introduce new areas they could add that to the open world?

Wasn't there a way to quickly refill your stamina gauge if Noctis gets tired of sprinting?

Just let go the sprint button right before the stamina bar is about to be depleted.

Easier and without the distracting stamina bar hovering over or on Noctis' head:
Disable the stamina bar and just look at Noctis' body language. Noctis will lean forward running with full power, the moment he gets tired and his upper body shifts upwards, let the sprint button go and he has new power again.

Looking at the bar I often miss the exact point, looking at his body it always works.

It's the opposite for me, I can't do it consistenly without the bar.
Also, I don't want to always stare at Noctis xD
