Recently picked up a pro along with a 4k tv and have to say Ratchet and Clank is by far the most impressive console game i've seen even besting the likes of UC4 and FFXV which i also ran on the pro.

Lol that's the main thing I was thinking about is that the artstyle is so much better!

Anyone interested to play The Last Guardian?

As it turns out the game is very poorly optimized. :/ It runs on the original PS4 at a very unstable 30fps that can drop as low as 20fps at times. Only the PS4 Pro 1080p mode offers a solid 30fps.

To be honest ICO and Shadow of the Colossus weren't exactly pinnacles of technology and graphics either. It's something you play for the story and atmosphere.

I agree to some extent. I can live with slightly shaky framerates. But that it runs at sometimes just 20fps is imo indefensible nowadays. :/

I don't know, the more I grow, the less I tend to care about these things unless it really hampers the gameplay and makes something run like total ass.
I'm not even surprised it has these problems considering how ICO and SoC were, really... as I said, far from technical masterpieces. If somebody dislikes them is for the gameplay, graphics and performance issues.
However they still have a great cult following.

Have had it preordered for a while now. Available in 2 days to play. I loved Ico, but just liked enough shadow. My least favourite thing in games are boss fights and shadow is basically nothing but.

Hope the frame rate isn't gonna ruin the experience too much.

Wait, don't you have a Pro now? The game is solid 30fps all the time on Pro but the game won't let you downsample from 4k to a 1080p TV for some reason, which sucks. :/ As I said, really poorly optimized.
