God lol he could not be less my taste, Good I guess though for people that are fans of him I think it was obvious he would get in.
Also his hair us fabulous though, It makes me look forward for how good it will be in Doa6!
I'LL SAY! It looks great, if I didn't like his gameplay, I'd be playing him just for the hair tbh. XD But then again his hair doesn't seem to go over his shoulders so they were probably able to put a lot more detail and visual flourish in it. Either way I'll likely be using him when it hits consoles.

Anyhow I'm really surprised to see him do soon. Sephiroth has so much fan power I was expecting him near the end to announce the console version. I guess it does make more sense to put him in now and draw in more arcade players though.

Yayyy, another obvious entry. And not even a character I really like, woo. @Jadeinchains, people have made real life cults about Sephiroth and have claimed he is the anti Christ, as an example of how his fans were like. There even was a girl who said he could meet him in the Astral Plane and make sweet love to him.
I ponder a lot of how anyone could be attracted to such a crazy bastard, as a fan of Cloud, but alas, I don't know. If he looked like Hojo, I bet he wouldn't even have half of them.
He does have some great moments but over all he is not that impressive as a villain, imo.
I think Ramza in Dissidia looks like Kasumi, by the way.

Didn't know the fanbase was that crazy. I just know he sells out the yaoi booths in the dealers' rooms of anime conventions. I don't think I've ever been more afraid of a crowd of rabid fangirls. Not after they ran me over twice.
Only way that's gonna happen is if the home console version somehow make an entirely different system from the ground up with 1v1 gameplay in mind to play more like 012 without the chase mechanic. And even then, she has to strictly be an assist.

One of my issues with Sephiroth is that he's developed this messiah-god complex and performing villain duties based on Jenova's will, hence why people call him momma's boy which is pretty correct. But what 70% people like about him (some of it is the girls too) is that the man is strong and having this dark confidence in his strength, this man can repel a truck by blocking with one hand. When it comes to being a villain Sephiroth is one of the villains that can back that up while being serious on the matter because he has the strength to do it, seriously this man is no joke and I can see why people give this man a lot of credit. Crisis Core was an example on power comparison from Sephiroth and everyone else.
This video got 5 million views and most of the reason why people like Sephiroth was mainly because of his strength and the squealing love of the fan girls and his hair of course.
Actually, in Crisis Core character documents within the game, it was said in there (not even kidding) that Sephiroth uses up an entire shampoo bottle for his hair along with the product being expensive.

It's true. He's voiced by the same guy who voiced him in Injustice. It's ironic, y'know... two characters hailed as the strongest heroes on the planet being reduced to murderous would-be "saviours" after one bad day, voiced by the same guy.
You would think Kevin Conroy should've voiced Vincent.
I'm honestly really excited for FF and Dissidia FF now at this point, I'm gonna have to look again at the current roster so I can see all the people I'm interested in, although I am not very knowledgeable about their back stories Since I'm still new to the series, I've chosen the people I want to play in Dissidia based on personality, gameplay and appearance mainly.
