If Genra joins I officially have a 5th main XD. And I think there will be 1 male and 3 other females but I hope it'll be 3 males and 1 girl to balance it out. But that will never happen.

I honestly think that DOA has some of the best male cast in fighting games.
Ryu Hayabusa, the supah ninja with the best izuna drops.
Brad Wong is a cool druken fist user, and i really like his design.
Bayman is awesome as well, and his moveset is so brutal, the same for Leon.
Honestly i don't like hayate or Ein that much, like, i enjoy their designs, but they haven't done as major characters, and that is weird.
Gen Fu as the old master.
Bass is really great and funny, and it is probably my favorite wrestler in fighting games currently.
Is sad that they don't get as much dlc costumes, but honestly, instead of wishing them for having more, i wish Team Ninja would tone down the costumes for the females.

Pretty much. If TN wanted him back, they would have put him in instead of Nyo. I've said it before, TN very clearly DO NOT want to put in the effort on male characters, as either dlc costumes or a new character.

I don't believe in such extremes, like i said, DOA has some of my favorite males in fighting games.
DLC characters probably have some marketing thought behind it, and if they're picking females, is for pure business purposes, but saying that they don't want to put the effort into males is a bit wrong, since their males characters are always pretty great.
About Genra, i was really wondering if ayane could get some of his moves (since i don't know his moveset), because you know, she was his apprentice, she is replacing him and such.
There isn't space for mor characters in DOA5LR, at least without changing the selet screen to something weird, but if they plan to add more characters, i'm sure there will be a male eventually. And let's not forget that last 2 character dlcs were guest characters.
Japan would probably favor the moe type or trap ones if they did add a younger one in. XD Even for males, they prefer more cutesy over rough and tough.Please not again an ugly, old undead man. >__>

We'll know soon what the November set is but I'm hoping for a anniversary set, And If it's only 17 or something then It's a matter of what characters wouldn't get an old outfit.
Everyone introduced in doa5 wouldn't so that's already lots of people you can count out, and the doa 4 characters who knows.

.I was exaggerating when I say they dont want to put in effort for the male characters. I meant that they clearly care more about the female characters. TN knows they can make more money on female dlc characters and female fetish costumes so they put in male dlc as VERY VERY VERY low priority. They have made male dlc costumes as part of many packs, sure, but those were uncommon.
Seriously though, I think a MALE dlc character I VERY VERY VERY unlikely, not impossible, but they will have to get a really popular male guest character if they ever do. I will be extremely suprised if they ever announced a guy as a dlc character.

!! Seriously TN, ENOUGH OF THOSE TWO !!! Give the other newcomers like Mila, Rachel (the only doa girls who have never shown up in a doax game) or even the guests like Sarah and Pai some fucking costumes. Specifically a cheerleader costume for Sarah and Pai.
