Anyway I really hope they don't just give Lisa a copy of some one else's outfit, I know they did that with the super hero outfit she had but last years was Kodachi's bat outfit. I hope we see more soon.

Jade, they might choose one of your designs too! I didn't see many Lisas this year so that's all the better in your favor imo. I myself only saw one other Naotora, and Eliot got a few too, but they may likely choose either my design or that cyber Eliot guy's since they want to make a vain attempt at male fanservice to please the masses.(My design had him bare chested if I remember correctly since it was based on Brad's shirtless wanderer costume.)

Nioh is a beautiful game I can almost imagine how amazing doa6 will look

It's actually not. XD Low resolution textures, everything dark and brown (okay that's the art direction) and horrible aliasing (jaggies) everywhere.
I am actually concerned for DOA6 after seeing Nioh...

I actually thought it looks pretty good, The art style is really good too. I'm sure DOA6 will be better looking anyway since it will be the future that it comes out.

Its not exactly a surprise, they have no interest ir intention to release DOA6 yet, DOA5 will get DLC as long as it sells and or 6 releases

I actually would be too, I hope they do more costume design contests, I really want to participate in some more, I went from not doing because of being self conscious to actually doing it and being applauded by others for trying. Hey more DLC means more outfits (despite how little) for Virtua Fighters.

Also despite the layout of the character select screen, could we get more characters?

I think there's a possibility for more guest or original fighters, they can always just readjust the character select screen and add back the random space so it'll be even.
