Well VA's do that for a living, so it's a matter if they needed work and TN was willing to pay. Sometimes they are even under contract if a company knows they'll need future work. Or they get everything needed for future projects. So VA's aren't so much the limitation as much as the cost to bring them back if the planning wasn't already done. If VA's weren't available then we would never have new characters post launch as it is.

VA do anything for money (not in a bad way). A job is job. I wanted to be a VA once so with research traveling a lot is part of the job but they get payed almost as much as real actors do

Wasn't that because of the X3 feminist thing? I still believe they had a western VAing planned for the game, but it was axed because of those silly feminazis, and Christina Marie Cabanos was pissed about it. But yeah, VAing is possible but only if the VA isn't already busy with voice work, it's a lot of work juggling multiple projects, especially if two of your assigned characters have drastically different voices. I still just don't see them expanding the story right now, that's a lot of Vas to reassemble and get to make new voiceovers, Japanese included. That also means a lot more translation and localization of the content as well.

Wow, not a lot of people seem fond of Dimensions story mode. I personally liked it, it did a much better job making sense of everything than the whole mess that was DOA2-4 where you had to kinda guess what was going on and who won what fight and such. My favorite chapters and scenes were all the ones that featured Kasumi and Kasumi @, the rest bored me, especially where Ryu SLAPPED Kasumi! And I hated that one scene where Ayane was being a bitch to Eliot, I'm all for a bit of sadism but not from her...

I like it... but I'm prety sure Ayane was being a bitch to Eliot because of his doubt in himself.

She's a cold hearted killer/assassin trained since childhood and raised in isolation. Not the head cheerleader in a highschool movie.

Not really, Most of the battles were taken from earlier games and the game simply has you use the person who's meant to win the fight. In some cases like during the DOA3 chapter the game makes you use Ein/Hayate so that certain match outcomes are left ambiguous.. as weird as it is having Hayate or Ayane act as a sort of mediator in these situations, it does work out well imo, and I liked it...I'm probably the only person on FSD who prefers the Dimensions story rather than the older one. Idk if that makes me an even bigger loser or not, heh. XD

That's what it is, unfortunately for the players who disregard it. Dimensions was basically TN trimming the jagged story hedges Itagaki left. Kasumi didn't even have an ending in DOA2, that's definitely saying something regarding the old messy narrative.

They need to revamp there characters a bit. Make marie rose keep her ego and cuteness but make her act like an almost twenty year old. Give her a pixie cut and add some lolita to costumes. Make honoka stop acting like a three year old and give her some balls. She's almost twenty too. Momiji Rachel and Marie participate in the tournament as stated in their online bios so they gave to return next game, but it doesn't say for nyo raidou or honoka.

They need to bring the personality that Ayane has in Ninja Gaiden to Dead or Alive.

Damn, if they want collaborations so much, just make a Ninja Gaiden DLC pack, i know it is the same universe, so is not collaboration, but i honestly think DOA as a series needs more of Ninja Gaiden and vice-versa.

About the AoT dlc in general, really terrible...

I still have hope that my designs are chosen for the halloween thing.

Story DLC?

Do a new story mode that covers from 1 trough 4, changing the bad things of dimensions (so, make Kasumi defeat raidou by herself, and make Ayane defeat Omega by herself, remove the suicide thing, Ryu already defeated way more terrible creatures, he can chill in DOA).

Also, i would really love if Team Ninja went back and revised the inititial plans that Itagaki had for DOA 5, the whole thing of Ayane Killing Miyako.
Also more progression things like Ayane using an outfit that shows that she is the head of the hajinmon sect, Hayate not being a jobber anymore and actually doing something.

Make Honoka have plot relevance, since she is related to raidou somehow, Marie Rose being secretly one of donovan's top agents or something.

Also, bring back blood in scenes that should have blood.

Well, it is obvious that i'm more focused on my favorite character(honestly i'm not even sure about that, is just the character i know the most, besides ryu hayabusa), and i really like some points of dimensions story telling, but i want my ninjas doing baddass ninja stuff.

I would be happy with Dimensions HD, and how it is, but i think it could be a bit better?
