Well they never said when it was over exactly. They just said "the 16th" so people probably assumed that meant they could still submit on the 16th.
I'm hoping the same so my amazon mila has a shot
Not true. How often do I have to repeat myself in here? From the international contest site under "Submission deadline":

They by the way officially closed submissions on Facebook now:

Well regardless its definitely over now! I actually think this was a really good year for amazing designs. 
There was so many that I'll be completely happy with seeing win for a character, it will be interesting to see if at any point a casual design contest is started.

I checked the Japanese as well. I'm pretty sure as long as it was received at some point when it was Monday in Japan, you're fine. They really should've added a time though.

Here was my only finished entry. It started as a joke between me and my brother. We had some good laughs while brainstorming costume ideas.
It went something like...
Both: Hahaha, that's so stupid!
Both: ...
Me: I think... I'm gonna draw that.
Brother: Haha.... er, wait... are you... serious? >.>
And thus, Cheddar Jacky was born.
My brother actually finished three designs. I'll have to post them later. I don't have access to them at the moment.
I was also working on one for Christie, kind of a voodoo/witch doctor thing, but it wasn't really coming together like I'd hoped it would and I definitely bit off a little more than I could chew with some of my design choices. If I decide to finish it anyways just for fun I'll share it here.

Well... it's pretty obvious that Harley Marie/Honoka won't make it in... since it doesn't even hide that it's harley quinn which they cant do lol as well as against contest rules
Lol, not as a port, the Neo has better processing and hardware than vanilla ps4 from what I hear, so maybe it'll slick everything up if you play DOA5LR on it. :-DFound a LOT of amazing submissions!

You really don't understand much of the PS4Neo... *sigh* Well, how could you, it still isn't even acknowledged by Sony and is all rumors so far. Some less believable, some more believable. What we apparently know for sure is that it is a little more than one time more powerful (130%) than the regular PS4. That sounds much...but really isn't. The PS4 is for example roughly 16 times as powerful as the PS3. Now, did you see a huge improvement in DOA5LR on PS4 with 16 times the power compared to the PS3 version? Do you think one time the power would suddenly make the game look so much better? Also, DOA5LR on PS4 already runs in 1080p and 60fps. What do you want more? The PS4Neo is most of all there to support Sony's 4K TVs (do you own one?) and the new VR platform, which heavily relies on high resolution and steady 60 fps so you don't get motion sickness. Old games are also not supposed to be patched for the PS4Neo, just games releasing after October of this year. Developers can of course still patch a game, if they want, but that costs money and time but doesn't really bring them any money and outside of Sony first party developers you won't often see this. Last but not least most developers are actually annoyed by the PS4Neo and other mid-generation console upgrades. It is really more of a hassle and problem than a blessing.

The mila one I like for the scarf but the actual outfit is WAY too similar to Yuffie from final fantasy.

For me it varied. Some entries took a week. I'd send them it again asking if they got it and within 24 hours I got a reply saying they already had it.
Others I sent in I'd get a reply the next day. There was no consistency.
I got an email verification for my Marie Rose design one or two days after, for my Christie design I didn't get anything so far. That's about 3 days now. I wonder if Tani, who managed all the other costume contests and was very devoted and usually quick to answer, already left KT.
