News New character is Naotora (Sengoku Musou)

To be fair, the point of that entire stream was to show off their newfangled "softness engine" and nothing else (much to everyone's dismay). I would hope that this would be an actual character showcase. But, I fully anticipate a decent portion of it being dedicated to ogling.

I'm sure this has already been mentioned before (don't feel like reading tonight) but how are they going to explain how a character from Shakespeare's era is currently participating in a modern DOA tournament?
Not that it even matters at this point but given she's property of TK I feel they're going to want to get some use out of the character in 6 as well in terms of DLC sales...

Joke aside, Tecmo Koei has done something like this with the Warriors Orochi series because Kasumi, Ayane, Momiji, Rachel and Hayabusa are all in WO3U. So I predict her "story" will be similar to that.

Well...if you say so. Honestly at this point they could clone Kasumi's right boob and make it a stand alone new DLC character and I wouldn't raise an eyebrow. XD

Pretty sure Naotora is the only one who has a chance of not being in 6. Phase 4 and Raidou will be story bosses (possibly Nyotengu as well), and Marie and Honoka are wildly popular.

..added her as playable character is enough. i don't think the battle system in 6 will be much different than 5

Nyotengu, Honoka, Marie, Phase... sure.
But Nao isn't guaranteed. If she has a lazy moveset (no original moves) and if she doesn't sell enough, TN won't necessarely bring her back. Depends on how much time/ressources she needed and how much success/money she will bring.

correct ,i say wait for the sales but in the end KT is the big boss..if KT want to bring 2-3 SW/DW characters in DOA6..What can TN do than to oblige

This is business to them after all. The new additions we've seen reflect the current consumer base. Clearly a decent number of players are buying these girls and DLC clothes otherwise they wouldn't keep making them.
