I hope it finally comes out next year, then I will be taking photos like crazy too. XD

Alright how about us moving a little more in the art style direction? Here's how Batman and his suit changed within the Arkham game series:

Arkham Asylum (2009):

Arkham City (2011):

Arkham Origins (2013):

Arkham Knight (2015):

Not only the Batsuit changed in design (except the first two games) but the character art style did as well each year, quite drastically imho. I would personally rank them:
AK>AC>>>AA>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>AO. At first I was not a fan of Batman looking like a walking tank in Arkham Knight but after knowing what he is up against in this game it fits just perfect. What do you think?

Can I talk about choreography and cinematography, camera angles, and my favorite unlockable ever, alternate costumes?

I'm most drawn to Arkham Origins because of those body proportions but I guess best design would be Arkham Knight. There's something about the netherrealm/warner bros character designs in AA/AC/Injustice/MK I don't like but I can't place my finger on it. Ugly faces and overly defined muscles maybe.

And btw, example of how beautiful the faces are in DOA5

I'm guessing story mode scenes use better lighting

I like the subtle freckles on her face and those eyes of hers. And it may be common knowledge already, but Mila always looks great and better than anyone else when she sweats.
As for muscular body proportion, I would say Soul calibur has the most balanced. DOA muscles are too wimpy looking, and Tekken and Street fighter over do it with all the steroid pecs and broad arms that are larger than their heads...

Steroids at work.

Jann Lee missed a couple days at the gym...Good lighting and texture, but still not really "built".
Z.W.E.I..jpg

Somehow, Soul calibur uses the lighting and skin textures to make defined muscle, but without treading the steroid line, and without making them look too scrawny. If Zwei was real, I'd much rather go to his gym than Jin and Jann Lee's. XD

I feel like the shoulders are where a lot of games get it wrong. Makes guys look too...idk boxy. They make them too broad and high up. DOA's guys might be less muscular but their bodies look realistic. What I REALLY don't like is when they make guys overly sinewy and vascular.

True. DOA makes their upper bodies look natural, and their arms aren't overly broad. And I have yet to see anyone in DOA have any muscular vascularity, I myself find it kind of creepy when you can see the blue veins just under the muscle.

They look like plastic action figures come to life and, yes, their faces do look ugly. D: Overall their design is mostly just meh. :( Injustice Batman for example looks so dumb...

I always found especially Mortal Kombat characters and their designs ugly, bland and uninspired. The newest MK has improved a little though... But they still messed up some designs. Why do Johnny and Sonya look the blandest ever?

They look like nondescript NPC soldiers that stand around in the background of some run-of-the-mill ego shooter... :/

There's a 3d-designer, Jocelyn Zeller, who did some of the designs and character modeling in the latest Arkham Knight games and her work always stands out as the best looking to me. I always instantly recognize it.

I love the way she's sculpting male and female bodies and faces, simple yet classy costumes and I also admire how well she does this (how should I call it?) "ugly yet attractive-thing". Unfortunately they don't seem to let her do too much in the games. She imho should be their lead 3d-model designer. :)

I totally agree that the Soul Calibur designer have the nicest male bodies and their female bodies are only second to DOA. Lol, I always thought the lead character designer Takuji Kawano was obviously gay (or at least bi) and therefore has a good eye and sense for attractive male and female characters. XD

I have this weird fear of veins so it really turns me off. @Yurlungur showed me a pic Shaheen I think it was shirtless in T7 and he was all veiny with the blue showing through his skin and I was like D:

I think it makes sense, a woman (straight/bi/pan) probably knows how to make attractive proportions for guys more than a straight guy would. Though I have no clue who did the games I mentioned before with weird looking people so these are all assumptions. :p

Hide, Chapstick, I think they are about to pop! XD

I think the middle of DOA5 male bodies (too little) and Tekken 7 male bodies (too much) would be perfect. Oh, I guess that's the Soul Calibur 4/5 bodies @KasumiLover69 and I were talking about.

I've always thought Soul Calibur did the best job of making the men look good. Mainly because you can see they actually put effort into them unlike doa sadly.

I agree, MK has always had problems with having so many interchangeable characters who just look and feel the same. When it comes to MKX I felt like many of the returning characters got their blandest outfits in this game. However I don't think any of them are as bad as what happened to the characters in the Deception - Armageddon era.
latest

This should be illegal.

I feel like MKX had such ups and downs with their character designs like some are amazing like D'vorah.
MKX_D_39_vorah_Concept_Art_4.png

And then they make insanely generic characters like all the child characters. You think after the reception the child characters in soul calibur 5 received they would think before going in that direction. Instead they made the child characters in MKX just incredibly bland. They look just like younger versions of their parents/care takers. Which is what some of soul calibur 5's new characters also fell into.

I also feel like MKX lightened up the game when MK9 was much more dark and menacing and had more of an atmosphere.
I like MKX I just have problems with the direction they went with it.

PS: Not to do with MK and Its probably just because shes my favourite Batman character but Harley Quinn looks so amazing in that render. But then they all do though.

Speaking of Harley. I liked Harley's concept art in Arkham Knight...

But they somehow messed up her in-game character model. I bought her DLC episode to also take some nice photographs of her, but she honestly looks really weird in 3D. I don't exactly know why... I think it has something to do with her hair, her very big head and narrow shoulders (the exact opposite of Tekken girl shoulders XD). From each angle she looked odd, so I finally gave up on her. (I'm not the only one, because I see thousands of Batman pics in every costume but har(d)l(e)y any of her. ;) ) In this screen she looks alright though:

batman-arkhamknight-harley.jpg

But pretty she isn't...
