DOA5LR New character expectations (Spring 2016)

i (personally) don't like the term exotic to describe a female but i will say that laura's design is refreshing coming from a japanese fighting game. moreso, her hairstyle because her outfit isn't nothing to howl over. i doubt TN take any type of hairstyle risk, they seem to pretty much give us different variations of straight hair and the most original we've gotten is helena's like, over the shoulder french braid.

still tho, i think TN is just going to give us a japanese anime archetype boy before they give us any unique/stand-outing/ female-that-doesnt-fit-a-anime-archetype-character.

im still have my money on cocky bishounen to rival eliot.

Thing is KT is not Capcom. I mean at least Capcom dares to go outside their comfort bubble every once in awhile. KT loves to play it safe whenever things work out by sticking with those safety rails.

Not exactly like him. Personality wise, he'd be bored all the time like Cody from SF, but his style is somewhat hard hitting and effective. I wouldn't want him to use an actual style either, because realistically, not everyone in a fighting tournament will have a formal martial art. I've yet to see a street fighter in DOA, so that'd be a cool new deadly style. No more Brad, I dislike him with a passion.

I would like the new character to be male, about 25 years old, but in terms of what they are I'd like to see someone who has kind of a split personality. Similar to how we have Lisa/La Mariposa, I'd like the male to be like normal/evil version, each has different opening and win poses/quotes, different outfit depending on which you pick, tag throws with certain good/bad characters etc.

Laura's design is super boring and generic. She's a sexy Brazilian chick in a capoeira outfit in Brazil's colors. It doesn't get anymore stereotypical.
When people praise her character design, they do confuse prettiness/attractiveness with good character design. Yeah, she definitely is hot. If I handed in Laura in my character design course my professor would kick me out.

SF is known for that. I mean, after Zanghief, Dhalsim, Guile... it should not be a surprise. It has been SF's trademark since the start.

Tekken is a bit like that too.

Every time I think of what TN could be making Aria keeps popping into my head.
