DOA5LR New character expectations (Spring 2016)

I still think a male character is likely. I mean TN has been getting request for a new male for some time now, plus I am sure the new character isn't the last character being added to Last Round seeing how TN is going to want to continue supporting it for a long time (we'll probably get at least 3 more after) and I am sure we are bound to get a male at some point.

But in all realness, my guess is that the new character is a time traveling goddess that looks like a character from the Atelier series.

The stage for DOA5 at TGS will be at 11:00pm JST today.

Whether it's an official reveal or a tease or even just some details on them, we are bound to get something on the new character today.

There is suppose to be a special stage for DOA5 Last Round before they get to DOAX3, so they have to reveal something. And it's likely the new character.

Besides Marie Rose, Phase 4, and NyoTengu were revealed months before they released so the same could go for this character too.

It could really go either way, actually. Let's have a look at the trend of TN when it comes to revealing new characters:

- Marie Rose: Announced release date months before she was released.
- Phase 4: Reveal trailer came out of the blue, about one or two months before she was released.
- Nyotengu: Same story as Phase 4, but Nyotengu was even more unexpected.
- Raidou: Reveal trailer months before he was released without an announcement of the trailer beforehand.
- Honoka: Reveal trailer a month before she was released with an announcement of the trailer beforehand.

As we can see, there is no consistency at all in a) the time gap between the reveal trailer and the release date and b) whether there has been a special announcement of the reveal trailer or not.

@Banana56 I didn't know about the special stage for DoA5LR, in this case there are a really some real chances for seeing it.

About the times of the revelations, you had to keep in mind that the revelations came for the Arcade version. I think that MR, Phase and Nyo were all revealed more or less a month before their release on the Arcade, however I could remember bad and in this case you could be right. Raidou and Honoka are instead a different matter being treated as new characters for a new release (similarly to all the revelations of the DoA5 Vanilla roster before its release)

It appears that it'll be discussing Falcom costumes and upcoming events and then lead into X3 discussion. At least that's all we know. TGS seems like as decent of an event as any for DOA reveals, but it's also could be too soon if Spring is the designated launch which could be as much as six months away.

I'd love some news on a character, but I'll go into this stream not expecting anything.

Wow, now I have seen all leaked screenshot!! She is amazing!! I can't wait for the reveal Trailer now. And to go back to the topic. I can fully agree here. The new DoA character should be something fresh and new - an undercut for a girl looks really special and sexy !! =)
