Hello, I wonder if there is any way to use a dress Kasumi in marie rose and fits well as the size of the bodies are different.

sorry for my English, it is to use google translator: P

Okay, the "Camo Night" variant looks actually awesome! Not a fan of the others though.

Tyaren, from your designs and favourite costumes in the game seems to me clear that black is definitely your favourite color xD Actually I really like the standard Camo version, TN should really try to create a camouflage outfit (not as a variant for the Legendary Black Falcon) for Hayabusa =)

Actually, black is far from being my favorite color. Nor is punk style (Eliot's design) any of my favorite styles. As a designer you have to be knowledgeable about many different styles and you have to be able to design something, that would fit a character best, not necessarily something of your own taste. Black happens to be a neutral "color" (many don't even consider it a color) and it's one of the savest colors, to mix other colors with. Many of Eliot's costumes feature black, red and grey, that's why I chose these colors for my design. I knew, Team Ninja considered them secondary key colors for Eliot. (His primary key colors being red and blue of course.)
Now to Ryu:
Camo doesn't really suit Ryu. It says: army, it says: American, it says: brute force. As a ninja, Ryu is the exact opposite of all that. Also, a green suit plus green eyes...nope, that's a little too much of one color. The very dark, almost black camo suit however looks good on him, actually really badass, even though it doesn't make much sense character design-wise. But most fan mods don't...

I guess my Ayane purple ninja must be making you feel like puking then.
To be honest I don't take it all that seriously, You only have to look at some of the costumes TN throw out to see its not just the fan mods that don't make a whole lot sense. I don't think there where many ninjas that went out in crisp white panties and stockings.
The awesome thing about this game and modding community is that we all get to tailor it to our own tastes and share it with others.

Yeah, kind of... XD You could have gone for a bit darker, less saturated violet, like Ayane's C2 in DOA5, and it might have matched perfectly.
I don't know, why many modders go for these headache/neon/radioactive kind of colors...

I agree with that. And it's getting worse with every new DLC pack. :( They started out with mostly really well thought out designs in DOA5 though. (I loved their art book!) TN has some amazing character designers.

I also agree with that. I hope, you didn't feel offended by my post. You are imho one of the better modders out there. And, yes, it's just for fun, I get that. I also sometimes do stuff just for fun. ;) I normally also don't criticize people's "art", if I am not explicitly asked to...but I somehow wasn't really a fan of Kronin telling me, what my favorite colors were, so I had to talk a little about my personal design choices and design in general.

@Tyaren it was just a comment to not get too much seriously: I had noticed with curiosity that the black is always been a dominant or highly support element in your DoA designs (Ein, Momiji, Eliot and Marie Rose), just like many of your favourite outfits for characters include often it (Ein's c1, Rachel's C1, Ryu's c1, Nyotengu black leather if I remember well, and others). Considering that you were choosing the black camo version over the others I immediately thought to them and mine wanted be just a funny - as indicate from the smile - reference to your choices.

It wasn't a so serious statement, from what I know everything could be just a coincidence or maybe you like leather outfits but you don't have a particular preference for the black color (or again, as you said, you just think that they are fitting the characters and nothing more). I wasn't accusing you of unprofessionality for eventually following your tastes over what you believe is the idea behind the conception of the character, that thought neither crossed my mind (even if personally I wouldn't consider a such thing unprofessional in absolute, however I don't want open an off topic).

I didn't think to offend you but if this was the case sorry, I could have put in misunderstanding my words.

No worries, Kronin, I wasn't that offended by it. ;) I just thought, meh...I do put a little more thought in it than just my personal tastes. :/
Ryu, Ein, Eliot, Momiji and Marie Rose are all characters, that black fits very well and that also Team Ninja often uses for them. (Now that I think about it, I find it sad, that Marie Rose, apart of her iconic gothic lolita outfit, hardly wears any black or gothic lolita dresses anymore. She's supposed to be a little devil after all...
My real favorite color is by the way green, like Hayabusa's eyes. But I would never wear green, as it doesn't suit me at all. XD

My eyes are dark grey. ):

Has anyone tried erasing the hair textures around Jann's head? I'm really curious what he looks like with just those brown spikes he has attached to the top of his head.

A lot of the official "new" hair colors look like TN just lazily slopped over the original hair textures with the recolor tool in Photoshop and then called it a day (which is probably exactly what they do).

If some of the newer DLC make it onto PC, I'd be interested in a user-texture pack that returns all the goofy highlighter monstrosities back to their base color. I can't be the only one who would have interest in something like that, right?

Good for you!

Although I, like Hayabusa-sama, have green eyes myself:

(That's an actual photo of my left eye. XD)
Yours are cool and clean. Mine are messier (heterochromia).

You are not. I'm not a fan of any of the super saturated colors. I don't mind alternate colors but the saturation seems a bit overdone in some cases
