From a business standpoint, it's actually favorable if they open their market to the modding community because there are a lot of people who take interest in modding, encouraging more sales on the base game rather than putting resources on developing DLC's while cutting development costs for them.

I agree too.
If there was no modding we wouldn't have Counter Strike, Team Fortress, League of Legends, Rocket Arena, to name a few of the last decades (and beyonds) most interesting PC titles, I remember seeing Half Life 1 copies selling for YEARS after its initial release due to the popularity of its mods.

DOA5LR, in the hands of a creative, imaginative modder, could be a great thing. You never know what could be done with the games engine. And as the message from Yohei Shimbori, he said; We would like to ask PC users to play our game in good moral and manner. Otherwise, we won’t be able to release a title for PC again. That pretty much translates to, nude/sexed up mods means no more PC TN games. Respectful mods that helps the game sell, go nuts!

Regarding the people, that are confused by Team Ninja's decision to port DOA to the PC and their obvious fears, even disdain about PC modding:
Ever thought about the possibility, that it was not Team Ninja's decision to bring out Last Round on PC, but the decision of higher ups at Koei Tecmo? Team Ninja is "just" the developer, the owner and publisher is Koei Tecmo.

Regarding the bunny-Kasumi confusion. It's an Asian culture thing. The rabbit has not much of a special meaning to us in the West (apart from agility or fertility maybe), but in China/Japan the rabbit stands for: Pureness/innocence, beauty, cleverness, agility and good fortune. The rabbit and tanuki (Ayane) are also sworn enemies in Japanese culture. (The clever rabbit wins though...)

The decision to say that was naïve on their part. Had they kept their mouth shut about it, those types of mods would've stayed on the dark corner of PC gaming instead of backfired by the modding community. Now they'll have to deal with people who'll not only make those mods but publicize it to the general audience out of pure spite.

Well i'm only speaking for those who just upgrade do LR with last gen and buy it on PC afterward. There might not be so many persons doing this, so i might not be right here...

I will be just one of these people, but honestly I think the majority of the fans will play DoA5LR on PS4 and Xbox One too (in addition to PC).

But as it is made by Koei, and this game has WO music and costumes ....(aren't they all TK now?), do you think there's a chance we would get a Dynasty Warriors costume pack?

I'd love for like, LuLingqi for Mila, Zhurong for Rachel, Xincai...I dunno who should get her costume. I was gonna say Mila, but then I decided Lubu's daughter, but maybe Ayane should get LuLingqi's outfit then mila would get Xingcai's?

Anyways, there could be a costume for everyone!

Are we basing the costumes off personality? or appearance? Cause I'd switch some of these around personally.

An example would be, Momiji. I see her being more like Guan YinPing personality wise.... but there is also visual similarities too.

I don't see why they can't make a Dynasty Warriors pack. The only problem it would face is it won't sell well. If the 3 WO3U costumes didn't sell well, I doubt this would either. Thus, I digress lest we're off topic~

How is this an ugly costume? it doesn't suit her, true. But it's not ugly lol o_o also this is Gracia from SW2/3/4. ( Also Warriors orochi... which these costumes were promotions for. )

Well for starters, Kasumi, Ayane and Momiji are meant to promote Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate which uses characters from Dynasty Warriors 7 and Samurai Warriors 3. The costumes we've been discussing are from Dynasty Warriors 8. Plus, this particular costume that Kasumi is wearing belongs to a Samurai Warrior.
