I don't see how you can come to this conclusion with the live action movie as evidence. I guess Hitomi is a boy and Ayane and Hayate are a couple too.
Donovan is not mutually exclusive to white or black either. But ok.

Nothing else to really say until we get the game. We know what the costumes are, we know what we would have preferred changed or not changes, nothing else except to see if we actually like using them.

The name Victor is Roman in origin but was popularized centuries ago among the French and Portuguese. In modern times, it's become increasingly common in English-speaking countries.
Donovan is an Irish name.
I think it's safe to say he's of European descent (Did he have an accent in DOA5? Can't remember), although I admit we can't pin down his nationality 100% from his name (Could be a pseudonym, I guess) or his blonde hair (Could be dyed), but he definitely has white skin as seen in DOAD, since his mask doesn't cover his neck or ears.
To loosely tie this into the costume thread, maybe Rig should get daddy's outfit? He'd look pretty stylin' in that white suit.

For anyone that uses Sarah, I saw via a stream she only has the space costume from the costume contest. I have to think a lot of the characters only have just one or two new outfits in Last Round (aside from upcoming DLC). It's pretty much outfits from the contest.
Also do any of the characters have new win/intro poses? (Most likely for tag matches I guess, but I'm mainly referring to 1 vs 1 matches)

Wait a sec you guys, Rig is based off Wentworth Miller? Wentworth Miller - the same guy who stars in prison break? The same actor who was recently confirmed as an androphilic male? More importantly a really good writer/screenwriter and occasional director? Cool beans.
As my case shows, Rig in general should model his costumes after Wentworth Miller's outfits from now on.
I've been looking through this thread. I'm not pointing fingers but let's not derail this costume thread with completely unrelated topics like Donovan's ethnicity. Another way to not derail this thread is by not responding to this paragraph I'm typing right now lol. Even if you're bored just post something that pertains or relates to costumes. So I was at Samurai Warriors 4- II and they made a costume pack for the female characters. A lot of them seem to have been types of costumes that have already been covered as female dlc in DOA. But there were others too. I can see the girls getting costume packs based on the following
