I got compliments - ACTUAL FUCKING COMPLIMENTS - from people in public lobbies in singles and tag.
I dunno what I did to change the people around me, but I never felt so encouraged yesterday. I was so encouraged in fact, that I decided to do custom loops for the DOA3 soundtrack just because I was in a good mood. Truly, this was a weird turn of events.

Weirdest moment that just happened a few minutes ago, was joining GuNmOdZ_ lobby, with 2 other players, watch his match and see he has a 81 win streak, and the match ended quick. Real quick, because it was only one round, and the health was set to "smallest". After that match, he immediately kicked me out.

Well today was fun, i ended joining a lobby and a new player who isn't experienced decided to join in. I decided i wanted play alpha and he ends up going "oh i know how to deal with her". He was bayman and he was doing tank rolls so i decided to deal with it accordingly 2p, low throw to the point where he ended just blocking. Around the third match he said "beat me i'm just not have fun anymore". 2 bursts later the shit storm started.
This guy who in the room is a tournament player and starts going off about how he's the plague ruining the doa community. How he needs to grow up and actually try and that he's being rude and childish and whatever.
Not for anything, it doesn't matter who you are it's not fun to fight alpha. So i understand his point especially at a lower level.
"Well he throws a lot", the bayman player said. "Oh, you saying he's a shit throw spammer now" (i'm just paraphrasing). "No, i didn't say that I just said he was good, he just threw a lot". Well, sorry if you're gonna block a lot i'm gonna throw??? Also i kinda didn't enjoy that kind of projecting or w/e.
So he ended up going about how this attitude was completely offensive because he was an "offline" tournament player. After a while he started sending these message to the bayman player and the bayman player basically said "Fuck off" and then he reported him for offensive language and still went on and on and on.
Anyone else just find this silly? I understand when people drop the controller it's just annoying but sending paragraphs...ehhh. He also said he was putting a video of him on youtube and i think he called him a scrub too? I think that's going a little far?

Do awkard crossups are teleports happen to anybody? I was playing someone who was Jan Lee (I 3-0d him), but Round 2, neither of us had a clue what happened.
We get towards the end of the round which I'm not winning then this happens:
I'm on a wall, so I'm thinking "I'm done!" - and while Alpha is the only character who can crossup to get away from the wall (kasumi has to guess the correct parry; Alpha has to just press H when in a slump stun or BT, when thrown against it). Neither one of these things happened. The scenario just magically reversed itself - Jan Lee is BT on the wall!
Both of us were like what the fuck? There have been times where Alpha would cross up (sans normal/command input) And no, the camera didn't turn around (I noticed most players lament this in general against any character)

When you are waiting for an half hour that someone is joining, just to have him writing this after the second match and leaving him after the third, were he did not even press a button anymore as soon as I was about to space a bit.

So I supposed that he wanted to end my little streak. I said to myself, "alright, why not" and joined again. Five matches later, he wrote:
*Switched to my basic Hayate*
5 matches later, he still had not won:
So we played again.
Like 5 matches later, he won:
And so, he left the lobby.

Normally id crack a joke here but considering I've daydreamed of leaning in front of oncoming traffic and such since I was 12 I know its hard to always keep that stuff bottled up and sometimes it just spills out.

At first I thought it was trolling and then when it started getting a little detailed and specifiic.I'm like dafuq quietly leaves lobby and reported the mofo via xbox.I guess the "dude" got adrenaline rush with it to play.
