And so it begins. Marie usurps Kasumi as the series protagonist, taking the favor of the Japanese and the King of the Clones title.

Maybe it's because I'm not into anime or pretty much anything related to Japan, but I like the way she looks and I think she fits right in with DOA. Everyone is complaining about design and such, why? You already knew she'd look like a million other anime characters you've seen, and even if she wasn't you'd just complain that she looks like some other bitch from some other game/movie/etc or something non-anime/japan related...

Her face kinda looks like Kasumi and Marie Rose mashed together. Maybe it's because the other picture was harder to see, but she looked much more mature in the little pic than in that big one. Also, her hair looks like it's strawberry blonde~

The resemblance with Marie Rose is definitely big but honestly when I saw her I immediately thought to Kokoro. Honoka has that particular shape of the eyes that make of her an Eastern character (as Leifang or the others Japanese girls of the series), where instead Marie Rose is missing it. A subtle difference but that really make a different outcome, are really far the times of the identical faces of the old DoA games...

Said this I really like her appearence, but at the same time I understand people that would have liked something more different.

Trolling aside though as generic as it is I like the design I'm a huge sucker for pink hair blazers and thigh high socks, but her Face is LITERALLY just MR if she was Japanese...

I'm gonna try her out before I completely give up on loli 2.0 uhh I mean Honoka though.

That explains why I'm liking Honoka so much. Kasumi and Marie Rose are my favorite characters!

It's less me being me and more that picture is blurry as fuck and I've had no time to look at it. The only picture I could see clearly was her big pic.

Looking closely now I can see she has some sort of proper fighting stance. I'm unsure about this magic though, that swirling ball of death is from Raidou looks like they have a tag team together which is very strange. That ball behind her might be a magic orb I can't tell as my eyes are bleeding from the strain.

Oh, I see it now.
The thing behind her in the top picture is not a ball. It's her right hand. Notice the cotton balls right underneath it that's also in her portrait.
If that's the case then the red glow is indeed from her and not a background Raidou. Also the left character in the bottom right picture is her.

@ everyone saying, she only slightly resembles Marie Rose, look at this:

I just changed her hair color and eye color and voilà: Marie Rose! Team Ninja obviously did the same thing, just in reverse.

looking at the super blurry screenshots, she seems to have a tag move with raidou. i could get down with her if this cute thing turns out to be a ruse and she's actually really evil and works with M.I.S.T.
