No...he was still a joke character, it was just more subtle. It's like a weird, inverse effect of Paul Phoenix post Tekken 3 where he was a badass before but a joke after, Zack was a joke character from the start, but found himself in the right spots to win the tournament(especially 2 since he is actually the champion there despite Ryu defeating Bankotsubo) and getting rich enough to not only buy one island but two.

And again, he is working for HELENA DOUGLAS! Who the fuck cares after being a joke when he saved her damn life and she pretty much enlisted him as the voice of DOA and most likely her confidant. Besides he still has a better fate than Brad Wong...

It's just like you say. He has been always crazy and funny and kinda cool, and that's why I liked him since DOA2. But he start to be a total joke in DOA4. And better don't talk about the current Zack in DOA5...
Anyway, back on topic...
I hope that Leon will FINALLY get something new and original after... how many years?

Not really. Before 5 he was just your standard eccentric celebrity, not a full on total ass clown like they made him in 5.

I think being Helena's stooge is actually a step down from a world renounced fighter, famous DJ, owner of (multiple?) Islands and adventurer.

Again, as opposed to the clown always doing over the top sentai poses and losing to everyone in 5.


For comparison. He used to be Johnny Cage, now he's Dan Hibiki.

Um what? Just because he doesn't do kickboxing tournies and DJ'ing means it's a step down? He's STILL the greatest kick boxer and DJ till he starts fucking up, so that doesn't matter much. And considering how renowned Fame Douglas was to the point that until Donovan up and ran and remade M.I.S.T, he was able to fund EXTRADIMENSIONAL CLONES FOR ARMIES AND HAVE MULTIPLE BRANCHES AROUND THE WORLD. That's absolutely on the same level as BILLIONAIRES. How is that a step down at all?

I'm not going to lie, there are a lot of things about this outfit that I like. It just looks unfinished (mainly the fact that just a small bat design is covering her lady parts downstairs).

Plus could you imagine how lethal her breasts would be with those spikes on the end if you put the game in OMG mode? XD
