Something else I want....more time in character selection


With all the costumes there now, need more time to scroll through and pull off the crazy kung fu monkey grip to get all the customization options right.

If you're competing in a ranked environment or a tournament setting, no way. The other person wants to play and it's rude to sit on a select screen making sure you get the ponytail and glasses just right. In lobbies or casual play, sure. Infinite time makes sense.

Not infinite but just add like ten more seconds.

I know which costumes but if I decide to change characters I gotta scroll through characters, then through costumes, and that's on top of about 5 seconds eaten up by lag. So say I change mind after rushing to leons c3, I have about 10 seconds to cross the board to mila and scroll through 30 costumes and make sure toggle options are pressed.

The ten seconds would help. Tired of getting stuck on wrong costume or wrong customization because there wasn't time...

What makes you think these DLCs are a couple bucks? Wasn't the last Halloween pack in the $20 range? And I don't know about you, but the idea of wasting $20 for something provided with something I know I'm going to get feels... wrong.

I believe that no DLC pack from DoA5U will be in disc of Last Round; a more realistic hope is to get more new original outfits in disc and personally I would love at least a new one for character from the first contest.

for the record ...
when you lag, the timer lags as well .. so theres plenty of time .. lol

I don't think so. In my fights with @Yurlungur it lags on the character select screen and the very beginning of a fight before clearing up (his college net acts funny) and the timer runs down at normal speed while it takes literally 15 seconds for the game to register my inputs sometimes

Anyway, to those who are going, can you guys post information about what you find in the Version 0.65 build of DOA5 Last Round?
