I thought Tom Lee said we were going to get information in a few days... it's been a few days.

lol fuck offAkira in particular just looks pitiful
lol fuck off
Banakira is the best.
I think there will definitely be ATLEAST 2-3 fan created outfits per character.
The press release said about 300 not DLC costumes, right? That's about 69-ish more than last time. Divide that by the roster size and it's roughly 2 per character. And then people want more throwback outfits as well. So, we'll have to see.
Sorry. I'll rephrase. If I remember correctly, DOA5U claimed to have 231 costumes on disc, right? The press release for DOA5LR claims that the game comes with around 300. Since DLC costumes are apparently not included, that would mean at least 69 more costumes than before being included from the get-go. There are currently 32 characters in the roster. That would mean that roughly everybody would get 2 costumes, some 3.Wait, what? o__O'
and characters like Alpha or maybe the VF characters may get shafted.
I meant in terms of costumes. Calm down. lolWhy in the name of fuck would they ever shaft Alpha? She's extremely fun to play as, and I think they've crafted an incredible boss character that lots of people enjoy playing as (which doesn't happen often). This isn't DOA6, and I think that if they were to take VF characters out, they would be doing the players that love DOA5 a disservice and would hurt a scene they have spent the last two + years building.

Nah. They outright wrote 231 on the promotional flier that they had for it when they were demoing it.@werewolfgold Nice reasoning, I hope that we will get some plot twists about your conclusion, however so far appear (sadly) pretty logical. By the way I can't remember exactly the number of unlockable outfits that TN promotoed with DoA5U, could "be more than 200"? (so in the end we got a gap of 31+ outfits from the estimation done).
The new title will offer up over 300 costumes in the package right out of the gate, with new hairstyles and accessory options selectable as well.
@werewolfgold
Where did they ever say "300 non DLC costumes" in the press release? They said:
Pretty sure, these over 300 costumes are all costumes of DOA5U and then some DLC costumes we got along the way, and that Team Ninja thinks, ought to belong in the new game, like for example the throwback costumes or the casual costumes maybe. They included costumes like this in DOA5U too, after they were DLC for DOA5. All the bikinis and fetish will probably again remain fee-based content though. So these about 60 (+/-) additional costumes might not all be completely new content.
I believe that more or less half of that 70 outfits will be new ones and the other one has a 50/50 chance to be from old DLC and/or completely new outfits.
Remember that it's probably only going to be around 50 new costumes. You have to subtract the 3 DLC characters' default outfits from the 300 number.I believe that more or less half of that 70 outfits will be new ones and the other one has a 50/50 chance to be from old DLC and/or completely new outfits for a few of the character already existing and eventually for new ones present on disc.
