Well I don't know about the rest of the people here but I can only speak/read/write/understand two languages, (English and Afrikaans), and I hate having to read subtitles. I prefer being able to understand what the characters are saying. So I always go with ENGLISH voice overs in all my games. (Seeing as less than 2% of the world population speaks Afrikaans I doubt that will be an option in most games). Also, I find female Japanese voices to be way too high pitched for my tastes. As "fake" as some of the accents in DOA5U might sound to some people I still prefer the English voice overs.

I wasn't even trying to be funny, lol. All of those examples I posted are real misspellings that I've seen.
It's possible that the taunt could change to something else when she isn't holding a fan, but I doubt it.

That reminds me... If Tengu's real name is Gohyakumine Bankotsubo and that Nyotengu is related to him, wouldn't Nyotengu also incorporate the Gohyakumine surname?

With a title like "Naughty Tengu Princess" TN is possibly hinting that she's royal within the tengu realm. This is what DOA wiki says:
"Kuramasan Maouson is the deity of Kurama Mountain and the ruler of the Tengu World. He was murdered by Bankotsubo, who then escaped into the Human World. The Hayabusa clan found out and sent word to Ryu Hayabusa, the last Dragon Ninja, prompting him to enter the second Dead or Alive competition".
So Nyo may be Kuramasan's daughter instead. Although it wouldn't make much sense that she would want to avenge Banko's death then since he would have been responsible for her father's death?

To me Nyo's background story sounds a lot like a compilation of thoughts other players have had on the message boards meaning:
they probably haven't really put much stock into her story-line yet, and probably won't until DOA6.

Maybe she wanted to kill him first.
im pretty sure that's for all the characters, might even be why none of them have tag throws. they dont want any established interaction before they figure things out.

I'm pretty indifferent about Irene's inclusion. If they gave her a fun fighting style that I would enjoy I'd play her (which would be true regardless of what form the character took) but the character herself isn't that interesting to me.
