Someone new could be cool. Like MR, she was totally new. Phase-4 and Nyotengu are more related to DoA stuff, being Phase a clone of Kasumi and Nyo a new version of old Tengu. So, yeah, someone new as forth and last character would be nice, and i think it has to be a dude. And if I'm not wrong Judo and Sumo are martial arts we don't have in DoA.

I really don't know. if they did release a new male I honestly think he would get more sells than Alpha, but the problem comes after that with the DLC. each new female they add automaticaly multiplies their DLC sells they can't do that with the guys because most players of them have higher requirements then skimpy which means they have to work more to get their money. they have nothing to lose by this tactic except a small portion of their fan basis respect and they've made it pretty clear they don't care about being respected.

A male character would certainly be a nice change. If his martial art was uniquely awesome, that would be a bonus. But I don't think "change" is what TN wants. So I doubt a male character would be released (unless its a popular guest character who has a respectable fanbase already).
I agree with what you said about the DLC for the "potential" male character. Yes, its sad about the DLC with males - I was trying to figure a way to say how you may be wrong, but I just can't lol. Female DLC = cash cow. For those of us that want decent and less skimpy outfits, we'll just have to wait

We have enough guest characters in my opinion. If they did just keep adding VF characters, then any attempt at DOAxVF would just feel less special. They should probably hold off on that.
While these Dynasty Warrior characters look...interesting...I guess, they all just seem so...overdone? I think that's the word I'm looking for. Almost, like, hyper-anime or something. lol

Best case scenario for the series would be a fresh new character in aesthetic and gameplay for DoA like Rig/Mila/MR. Hell I will take an NG immigrant like Yaiba at this point if his gameplay is unique enough from the other ninjas. Game has more then enough guests as is to fluff up the roster size.

I really think the DW characters would be out of place in DOA's universe. Once you give them outfits outside the ornamental robes and armors, most of them would probably not look like themselves anymore.

Ryo (Shenmue) would be my guess. A mixture of Akira and Ein would be perfect.
But I'd rather have a DOA male newcomer.
Anyway, have you notice that we got many "belly danger/genie" concepts for both contests ? I wouldn't be surprise to see an "Exotic Pack" coming soon, based on Marie-Rose's and Lisa's concept art, and Helena's own version from DOA3/DOA2U...
