True, the tweets this morning were very confusing (to those not imbedded in the community), and yeah, they tweeted a few costumes themselves that will receive a little more attention then the others.

But hey, all is fair in love and DOA Halloween costume contests!

Mafia Hitomi is IMO one of the most well drawn outfits and with a very good design (even if little Halloweenish and more fitting to other girls before than Hitomi): I don't think that the promotion on FB will influence so much its placement, IMO it was already fated to be succesfull.

(Then of course I could be wrong and maybe it will not end to be in the top 10).

I'm actually surprised mafia Hitomi is doing so well. When I voted the design didn't really catch my eye and I picked super hero Hitomi instead. Looking at it again not a big fan of the hair (and it looks odd on Hitomi) but the design is pretty cool.

Mafia Hitomi wasn't that popular, before it was spotlighted on Dead or Alive Game's Facebook page for days. When all costumes were uploaded in a row on Facebook, I checked their popularity regularly and when it was posted here, most said, they didn't really see it for Hitomi. But indeed, the design is great and so is the artwork.
Let's see, how influential Facebook is over the separate voting in the end...
I am really thrilled to see the top 10! XD (I don't think, my design has any chances to get in the top ten this time.)

I find it funny that most of the people doing this are ones that only made an account to advertise their costumes, I'm promoting mine cause it was one of the late ones.
