So, apparently the favorite design has already 1200 votes after 2 days of voting, says Team Ninja on Twitter. That's much more, than the final 860 votes of the last contest's winner.
This contest was far less popular with participants and it wasn't pushed and shared by thousands of people on Facebook and in the forums there isn't as much buzz going on...so, I really wonder, if such a high number of votes can be real. Is Team Ninjas' voting system really uncheatable? Do we know how it works? In Facebook we could all see, if something fishy was going on and it was us, who brought that to Team Ninjas' attention. Team Ninja seemed with their heads miles away. I don't think this has changed much...

I am really thrilled and equally afraid of the top ten, haha!

I'm sure there's going to be someone who spends all week voting on his design with various proxies. Never underestimate how much free time some people have.

Well, with certain characters only having one or two costumes and everyone having the ability to vote for a costume for every character, it would make sense that we'd be seeing incredibly high numbers of votes for certain outfits.

It's kind of funny except for Lisa and Marie each girls' popularity in the contest directly corresponds to how often I see them online

These 4 are the ones we saw on FSD/Twitter/Facebook before the voting started.

I think we saw this one for the first time once they got the voting page up. Must have been submitted by e-mail.

I believe these are the ones that were added later. That 2nd to last one is amazing!

These two are my personal favorites for Nyotengu. My plan was to vote for the Queen of Hearts, but I saw the second one when I was voting. I was really amazed!

^ The second one looks nice, but it's way too similar to her default outfit. I saw it while I was voting and thought it looked cool, but I want more variety in her outfits.

Not that the voting dictates what will make it into the game, but still.

This last one is wrongly labeled as Nyotengu but actually is an outfit for Pai (on FB is correctly "classified"): you can easily to see it from the hairstyle.

I already make notice it to TN, hoping that they will fix it soon.

Oh, that makes a lot more sense. It didn't really match NT, but I just assumed someone decided to give her a new hairstyle lol

I already decided what designs to vote and this Pai's is one of them, but at the same time I don't want risk to make my selection null for having voted 2 designs of Nyotengu...

Maybe they could be just a simple way for promoting the contest without anything behind (after all they are all some of the designs with the best art), but maybe do you think that these could be even the ones so far with the majority of the votes?

It would be highly unfair, to promote the most popular entries even more. XD So, I don't think these are the most popular, but a random selection, that maybe the organizer liked. And it makes sense, to select pretty ones, to promote people to take a look at the contest.

I think they are the most popular, at least on Facebook. Besides, if you look at them, they are the ones that have the most likes on Facebook and even the most votes (at least publicly) from the members here.

I don't know what to feel about these 10 costumes. Well, ok, I feel a lot of anger. I mean: if we check the number of "like" in facebook, I think we can have a pretty much good idea about costumes that might win. And what are those ones? Nearly the same that the 10 costumes shown by TN (Ayane, Phase-4, Hayabuza, Kokoro, Kasumi and Hitomi). So, what does it mean for the others? Would have they choose them randomly? I don't think so.
But If so, I really don't understand how this Momiji's bride dress can be in the top 10... (Sorry :-( I made a Momiji costume... I can totally understand if the JKT dress would win, but this one...)

What are you guys talking about? XD Those are not the top ten! It makes absolutely no sense and would be highly unfair to promote the top ten even more. And if that was in fact the top ten, Team Ninja would say so: "Hey, guys, just to let you know, these are the top ten at the moment!"
Just wait, in the coming days more costumes will be spotlighted, just like they did during the last contest's voting. And they were chosen pretty much random...
Also, the costumes are so popular on Facebook right now, because they are in the spotlight and the first you see, when checking out the site, duh! If there were other designs on the front site, they would be just as popular.
