I really like it! I've seen a sketch of this before, together with an accompanying Alice in Wonderland-Marie Rose. Too bad, one is only allowed to have one entry, so this design on it's own is a little out of context.

Yeah w/o MR it's even more confusing. I hope TN looks at the ears and cotton tail and realizes that most Eliot fans would not want this. O_O

By the way, I am really appalled by the image quality, of my pic on Facebook. It's so blurry and pixelated, one can hardly see the the work I put into details. I also worked a lot with different textures for the clothes. Does Twitter have a better picture quality? (I have no clue, because I have no Twitter for now). I was also wondering, if it would be okay, to send a message to Team Ninja on Facebook, asking them, if I can provide them with a better image, separately from Facebook/Twitter. :/

It's kinda weird that the competition gets fiercer for a character that we thought there wouldn't be many entries when someone posts something good. Take Brute's Bananakira for example. He was owning it then all of the sudden, some other guy pops up and submits a decently done entry of a Dynasty Warriors-themed costume for Akira.
There's much time left. There will be many more nice designs for sure.
Some of my friends and acquaintances are also illustrators/comic artists (they aren't even DOA-fans) and are just as good or even better than I am and now, through my entry, they've become aware of the contest. So, there might be some really nice designs and well executed art on their way. :/

I suppose that's one thing but it feels like a gamble between entries. Competitors are like waiting for the right time to strike. I feel slightly miffed myself by a certain entry under Helena's category due to the similarities it shares with my entry.

You can probably say the same thing to Bass, Bayman, Jacky and Gen Fu who also got nothing. :/
Depends on how TN's judges the submissions. First of all ,we don't even know they'll pick one for each character. If they don't, I doubt many, if any, of the males will get costumes. Second, if costumes are chosen my favorites/likes counts of FB/Twitter, Bananakira would have a lot better chance of making it. However, if it's based on artistic design via subjective perception, it has a very low chance of making it in, imo. So yeah, I consider the competition pretty tough. I just really hope I make it through.
Would be a dream come true for me.

I really hope they open up a public poll for each character's entries. It wouldn't seem fair if things would be based by likes/favorites from FB/Twitter or if TN calls the shots on which costumes they would pick (it's biased but they pretty much got the hand of fate on who they choose).
Maybe but I doubt they got the most diverse wardrobe for all occasions.

A Christie entry and a really good one. Instead the british flag i would prefer a big Snake symbol but its ok, i really appreciate your work and the design from the outfit! Great job!

The last thing I want is for it to be based off of us just liking the designs. It becomes a popularity contest then. Those who are well known in forums will do far better.
I'd prefer if we get to vote for the best costume for each individual character. Then let team ninja choose the best one of the overall winners. Or if they're feeling really nice that day then make all the winning costumes into one dlc pack.

Characters who probably have like one entry gets automatically crowned as a winner entry lol (if TN will provide costumes for all characters which I do hope is the case for this contest).
Even TN doesn't know how it will judge them. There will probably be a a "winner" who gets a prize then all the good costumes will make it in.

I doubt they'd let us decide which one was the best costume. Like some of the costumes aren't terribly practical for fighting and some border copyright. I do hope they choose more than one though and equal with gender.
