She has very cool outfits. The Black and the red are awesome.
Phase 4 is more agressive I really love it. How should I say it. Ehm Phase 4 has the attribute which I want to see in Kasumi.

I am wondering which character would have a Tag Animation with her.

I asked this question before about Marie Rose: Are there any known tag interactions with other characters?
If TN didn't take their time to implement them for Marie Rose, they won't take their time with Phase 4.
But honestly, how would any character have a tag throw or special intro or outro with her? It's not as if she is best buddies or even acquainted with anyone...except Rig maybe...

I don't even know if Donovan DOES pay salaries to his workers. Bayman hasn't even received his paycheck after killing Fame Douglas and to top it off, Donovan even sent out an assassin to kill him.

Makes me wonder what the future holds for MIST's potential intern/receptionist.

Thats what i mean, people pick alpha due to her higher damage output over regular kasumi but its at the cost of being a featherweight, having crappy holds, no wake up kicks, and never getting any new costumes. phase 4 has higher damage while having none of those drawbacks that alpha has

Grapplers? You can input the next move perfectly and completely lock out the opponent from breaks. I'm not sure if there's other things like strike based moves. I imagine a Mila or Rig player could have this as they are new aside from Racheal and Momiji.

Must be hard to get out from working at MIST knowing that they'll send out an assassin to kill you for breaking ties by resignation or retirement or for simply getting yourself fired.

Then again, Bayman completed his task but was betrayed by Donovan himself despite his mission being accomplished smoothly.

Like fatal said it'll probably be the just frames. Don't know how important they'll be to her character, but they can be a bitch to execute especially online. In heavy lag I can't get Kasumi's 6P+K teleports right half the time (my execution kinda sucks sometimes though. :/)

Oh joy. I dont want to drag this discussion out, but it seems rude to essentially ignore a post you appear to have put a lot of thought into. So...

The thing is, they're already here. This statement needs to be amended to say "unreasonable to want scantily-clad, hot girls in a game like DoA". It's not, I suppose. But, that's already here, too. Even mentioning it is kind of like beating a dead horse at this point.

2. "Are gay guys sexist for wanting skimpy outfits for the men?"

It's more complicated than that. While the comparison seems apt, general consensus (and hard numbers) would state that while the women are swimming (c wut I did thar) in bikinis and other sexy outfits, the men...not so much. There are some outfits here and there, but uniformly...no. Asking for more skimpy outfits for the men would bring "parity" so to speak while asking for more skimpy outfits would push the meter further in the "wrong" direction. This is even more flagrant in a world where many in the hardcore-DOA field want the game to be known for more than sexy women (something that may be at odds with what the devs want, but...eh). It shouldn't matter that much. People want what people want. However, some people may not be thinking about what they themselves personally want, but the "larger" picture as well.

Sure, I know what the "hardcore" players want, but it doesn't justify aggressive behavior, IMO.

That is at odds with what some others want. Some people would rather TN never find out. Some people have had enough. Some people think it wouldn't fit the circumstances (we're kind of past that, but...). That plus it just seems like a foregone conclusion that more skimpy outfits (for the women) are probably coming regardless, it's not going to sit well with some for people to keep harping on about it. There are some other things that the game needs after all. Whether it's being usurped by them making swimsuits all the time...well, no one knows that for sure.

And, let's be clear. Your support seems to be for skimpy outfits for the women only. Not just skimpy outfits.

Well "probably coming regardless" isn't too reassuring and that why I mention my design preferences frequently when I post. Most of my posts are about the visual aspect of DoA too (costumes, characters and stages).
Also, of course I only support skimpy outfits for the women, because thats what I want to see. People who want to see other things, should support them themselves.

Orrrrrr, people have had enough and want it to stop. You are going to be directly at odds with some others here because of your constant call for skimpiness above all else (color scheme, general costume design, badassery-ness, etc.). All of it is secondary in your eyes. You are making yourself a target by (seemingly) being so absolutist about it. That's what I personally think seems off. It's gotten to the point where some of the things that you want seem ridiculous for a game that supposed to be about beating the crap out of people (once again, we're beyond that, but...).

Yes, the skimpiness of an outfit is important to me but (for example) the girls having shoes is also something that is very important too. I also really want a rainy stage and a few just-frame attacks for each character.
On your second point, I dont think any of the outfits Ive suggested in the costume thread would "seem ridiculous" in this game. I play by the rules and am careful not to post anything that shows... naughty bits, so there is nothing there that is not already exposed in Lisas Artemis, for example.

Now, what you said in that post, to my eyes, wasn't technically "sexist". But, it carries the air of it because of a. how one sided you always are about it, and b. women (and others) have kind of had it up to "here" at this point about the only important thing to "men" regarding women (especially when it comes to all things media) being sex appeal. I don't think people wanna demonize sexy things completely (that's another bad road), but at this point in time things appear to be off balance in the eyes of the general public. So, anyone that's all like, "WOOOOO BIKINEHS" beyond a certain point is going to at least get the side eye.

To some, it may carry the air of sexism. All I can do is reiterate, that I am not sexist. I respect women, as I do, men.

I hope we can all move on now.

My wishes for the future of the serie :

- TN adds Irene, Tengu and Donovan (mimic of all the cast) as bonus characters in DOA5UA
- In DOA6, Donovan asks Lisa to bring Tengu back to life. He becomes Rachel's rival
- Irene meets Bayman and together they track Donovan and MIST
- Alpha 152 and Phase 4 merge to have to same (badass) moveset
- Phase 4 becomes Rig's pet, Ein becomes Lisa's pet. Tina tries to stop Lisa
- Rig and Marie-Rose have a "Jake Wesker/Sherry Birkin" relationship, that's Rig's redemption
- Christie is on her own. We see several flashbacks that explains why she wants to kill Helena. There is a confrontration on Freedom Survivor. Titanic
