Yes. She has. In addition to the aforementioned camera incident, she almost completely forgot about her work when Tina happened to stop by and left suddenly, before even completing an order she received. In addition, I had mentioned 'when the situation calls for it.' One could easily argue that Mila's been shown more often in situations that call for it, work and a gym in particular. Regardless, I didn't necessarily intend for this to become a debate, I simply wanted to point out that Lei Fang and Hitomi have been noticeably brought back out of the ditziness they fell into in DOA4. That, and note the startling similarities between Kokoro and Colette's (particularly in Dawn of the New World) personalities, to complement the already-noted similarity in appearance to Tifa.

That line is somewhat blurred when you allow your fangirlism to take priority over your responsibilities. Regardless, as I said, my post was pretty much an excuse to make an, admittedly rather dull, 'Tifa + Colette = Kokoro' joke. It's a subject I'd rather not pursue further, as I'm well aware of the flaws present in my argument; it was rushed for the sake of a bad joke.

Well, here's something I've learned. Take it for what it's worth.
Most people that deride others aren't going to see them in a better light if they change. Don't get me wrong, I've had it happen, but it's not likely. So what do you do? Do you turn away from your convictions and have roughly a three in four chance that these people STILL won't like you or do you just tell them to fuck off and not care?
Like it or not, Dead or Alive has a reputation for something. Sex appeal. Girls wearing obscenely little clothing, but if someone takes more than fifteen minutes, actually sits down and PLAYS it, they will find out holy shit, it's a good game under it all.
Street Fighter has the reputation for being a fighting game. Soul Calibur has the weapons, Mortal Kombat has the fatalities. What I'm suggesting is rather than being a bunch of pussies and trying to castrate the game, DoA should embrace its reputation and tell the haters to go play Street Fighter.
Are you familiar with the 1993-94 hearings that basically evolved into the ESRB? Probably not. Let me give you some details. The Congress and the media were complaining about Mortal Kombat corrupting youth but we had to *understand* the thugs of the 1992 L.A. Riots, because they couldn't control themselves in a mob mentality. All the meanwhile, people who didn't care for Mortal Kombat were playing it since the media said not to and they realized "Holy shit -- it's actually a good game".
After that, do you think these people actually sat around and started playing Mortal Kombat to see if the game was actually worth playing or not? Here's a hint: Mass Effect was blamed by the same idiots in the media for Newtown. You're not going to convince the politically correct stuck-up no-life losers that are going to hate the game not to hate it even if you cut out the sex appeal entirely. Why? Because these people do not want the problem solved. They're like Judge Judy or the people that bemoan the Redskins name. They'd rather sit around and complain about something all the time than actually fix the real underlying problem. How is taking away the sex appeal of a video game going to make guys who don't already respect women? Say it with me: It's not.
Since you're not going to convert these people, I say to Hell with them. Rather than toning down the sexuality, give the people that don't like it a flaming middle finger the size of Sweden and give the players some increased sexuality.
