It might sound painstaking, and it was a bit in the beginning but now that I have my routine down it is not that bad. On average it takes me between 2 and 4 minutes to make one of the high resolution shots. It probably takes me less time to make the high res shot then it does to just normally save a picture in game and upload it to facebook, since that seems to take forever.
So, I have a question. I'm trying to collect all Defeat/Victory poses for all characters, but certain ones I'm having considerable difficulty getting. I've heard that you can hold down certain buttons for certain Victory poses, but I've tried every combination I can think of and I just can't get some of them. I know certain ones require certain conditions to be met (ie:win with a "great" or defeat Hayabusa/Hayate, etc.), but I have no idea how to get these ones. I was wondering if you guys knew how to get the ones I'm missing. The ones I still need are:
Jann Lee Victory 3
Helena Victory 3
Lisa Victory 2
Hitomi Victory 4
Bayman Victory 3
Any help is appreciated.

Hitomi's 4th is unlocked via story, it's the story unique pose she has when she beats Eliot

Yeah, I'm stumped on how to get Helena's win pose 3 also. I know it's the one where she says, "May the bells of good fortune ring!". I got it seemingly randomly in DOA5 so I'm no help.

I was able to do that with a button press in 5 but now she has a win pose that uses that same animation but she says a different line, I forget what.Yeah, I'm stumped on how to get Helena's win pose 3 also. Also no buttons seem to trigger it.

I think you get Helena's with a Greatest victory. I got it while unlocking things in arcade mode but I don't remember how.

1. Story mode: Jann-Lee vs Hitomi
2. Greatest with Helena (not great, must be at least 2 rounds)
3. Don`t remember which one that is but for 2 of Lisa`s quotes, press face buttons (P/K/G only), last one is done by getting a great
4. Story mode: Hitomi vs Eliot
5. Win versus Leon (may need great, I forget)
Now someone tell me how to get Ayane's "The match is decided" win quote so I can finish collecting them. It's driving me crazy

I think you get Lisa 2 Victory by getting greatest or perhaps just random. But she says “ you OK? Your the one that wanted to fight, you know.

Tricky bastards. So after UpSideDown mentioned story mode, I was able to get Hitomi and Jann Lee's last ones by doing their story mode sections again. I did Helena's too, and randomly got hers (though I don't think it was tied to story mode). For Lisa's I got it by getting a "great" with her, and I guessed Bayman may have one with Leon so I tried that and got his only to come back and find that Robo would have told me that anyway 9I got a great, not sure if that's a requirement).

In the Music menu, if you go to the very bottom of the song list, there should be an option that says "[STAGE]".
Hold down P+K before the WINNER screen.

I know. The problem is that for some reason, you can't seem to set it to STAGE in the Music menu.

Does anyone else have a problem with the flickering lights in the forest stage? I don't know if it's my tv oder the stage itself, but it's really distracting. It also looks really weird that all the tiny leaves in the background are constantly in focus. I just don't know if I can somehow change this in the game options.
Einzelkind, you can't change that. It's the horrible aliasing in DoA5. In the forest stage it's the most visible. That and the low resolution textures in the stages do sometimes really hurt my eyes. x__X' Then I need to start playing Soul Calibur V (which has perfect antialiasing and sharp textures) for a while to relax my eyes.

Lol, are you blind? XD Do you by chance own Soul Calibur V? There's a forest level too. Almost no aliasing (you know, those little saw teeth around every object), sharp textures, bump maps, normal mapping, bloom lighting, Gaussian blur in the backgrounds (during the fight)... DoA5/DoA5 Ultimate rarely uses any of these. And some of it's backgrounds look really ugly, at least in my book. DoA4 looked much better in that regard. I guess, Team Ninja put the most resources into making the girls look perfect. And then there's also the graphical loss typical for multiplattform titles...

I do own SCV but I haven't noticed what you're talking about at all, but then again I don't really pay attention to graphics on Xbox 360 because they're always worse than what the PS3 can do .
Also graphics really don't bother me at all I still play PS1/Ps2 games to this day and still find they look good
