Any indication on whether there will be an English print, or will I have to hire a translator?

If it's anything like the other Japanese DOA guides that I have (and I'm sure it will be), it will be almost entirely in Japanese. Assuming you just want the frame data though, you don't have to be able to read another language to understand that, aside from a few specific sections.

All of Tengu's DOA2U, DOA4, and DOAD frame data that I put up on the wiki came from my Japanese guides and the only language I can read is English.

I have no idea how they do things over there. Always weirds me out to see that the DOA logo and character names in-game are still in English, even with Japanese copies of the game.

But if I can understand the frame data in there I'll probably buy it, then.

This is basically what you'll be looking at.

The six categories in that shot from left to right are input, hit level, frames, damage, hit advantage, and block advantage. To understand what the symbols for hit levels mean, you can just compare them to these smilies; :high:, :mid:, :low:.

Awesome! I can read that just fine.

Do you think they'll give a little character picture at the top so I know who's moves I'm reading?

Yeah DOA4 and DOA3 had pictures on the left/right margins so you can flip through the book to go by the picture on what page you were on.

Wouldn't hold my breath on that. Vanilla only actually got one relevant balance patch.
